O Tiny House Village Getaway is located in Kansas City, Kansas.

The village was built on a property that was once a junkyard filled with old car parts, tires and scrap metal.

The junkyard was transformed into a beautiful village in 2019 when the first phase of construction was completed.

The village has eight small residential lots for rent, a community garden, a dog park and a laundromat.

It was created by Wyllard Hartley, who alongside his wife has lived in a variety of tiny spaces – including a travel trailer, a motorhome, a bus conversion and a tiny house on wheels.

In 2013, Hartley was hired to build a housing development on the outskirts of Forth Worth, Texas – 30 miles west of Dallas.

Instead, his passion for tiny homes led him to convince the homeowner to build a tiny house community.

Six years later, Hartley built Hideaway Tiny House Village, a vibrant community located amid nature.

RESOURCES AND AMENITIES

Hideaway Tiny House Village offers long-term lot rentals for those who have their own tiny home on wheels, as well as short-term vacation rentals.

Those interested in long-term rentals can earn big starting at $540 per month.

Free rental of small residential villas opens for registration with limited spaces – but it’s not just the launch of the project

The monthly fee includes maintenance of common areas, water, sewage, basic internet and laundry.

Other village amenities include Wi-Fi, playgrounds, edible landscaping, electricity, trash collection, exercise space, and a community garden.

The community also offers stunning views of nearby streams and greenery, as well as a peaceful setting.

Hideaway Tiny House Village takes the safety of its residents seriously and has four strict requirements for living in the community.

The first requirement is that prospective residents pass a background check.

Second, the community does not allow residents who have already been evicted.

Third, residents must have an income-to-rent ratio of at least 4:1.
