Sharing a photo and link to the house on the SpottedonRightmove subreddit, a username freakofspade titled their post “You would look at this house and imagine that it might have an indoor area swimming pool?”

The house has a large kitchen/dining room, a large living room and a huge indoor area. swimming pool.

The unassuming home houses four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Potential buyers need a deposit of £62,500 to secure the property.

The property listing description says: “The property has been extended and individually designed.

“[It has] a large flowing living room composed of an entrance portico that serves the reception hall with vaulted ceiling and galleried landing.

“[It has a] Fantastic living room, family room, office/bar.”

A large 1970s-style red brick fireplace runs across one wall in the living room, and potential buyers may want to update the decor, as the carpeting is currently green and the walls are light. pink.

But it has huge windows that look directly onto the stunning view.

The kitchen/breakfast room is an ideal space for a large family and there is an adjacent utility room.

Also on the ground floor there is a dedicated cloakroom, two smaller bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom.

“On the first floor, a gallery leads to two further double bedrooms and a family bathroom,” the online description continues.

“Attached to the side of the property is an indoor pool with shower and plant room.”

The pool is currently empty, but is large enough to host summer parties or be used for regular exercise.

People in the Reddit thread couldn’t believe what they were seeing, with one person saying the interiors “hurt my brain”.

One person said: “It looks like a council house, a mansion and the inside of a caravan all at the same time and it hurts my brain.”

Another wrote: “Is this a weirdly amazing house? Are they rich or not?

“This house is throwing me into every decade. I’m so confused.”

A third wrote: “I love this house!

“Someone spent a lot of money on it in the 70s and 80s and, with the exception of the modern bathroom, the TV room and the gray carpets, they just left it at that.

“The dark orange bathroom with built-in bathtub is exquisite (except for the carpet).

“It’s really cozy and the seaside location is lovely – not least because you can’t see the rest of Yarmouth.”

However, others weren’t as keen on the design or images displayed on Rightmove.

Many questioned how “disorganized” it was and wanted to know why there was a mattress in the pool and another against the wall.

“If you were selling a house with an indoor pool, I think it would be worth the effort to remove the old mattress before the photos are taken,” said one.

A second said: “I don’t love it because it’s very confusing and has a claustrophobic feel.

“I feel like I can smell the dust from here. However… I think there’s potential for a nice ’80s glow.”

“Fuck it’s horrible,” said a third.

Important tips to remember when buying a property

IN today’s property market, homes can be snapped up quickly, so make sure you know what you’re looking for – and if it’s within your budget.

Rebecca Miller, associate editor at Fabulous, has spent the last six months house hunting, and it’s been exhausting! She shares her tips for getting the perfect property.

1. Write a list of essential items

“Find out what you really want from a property, what’s important to you and your lifestyle, and anything that’s a complete no-no.

“For example, I needed a bathroom upstairs. I’m not at university anymore, I don’t want to walk around the kitchen in a towel to take a shower. I also wanted a big garden – gardening is my passion and having my own space was important.

“But maybe you need off-road parking, good local schools, or amenities around the corner? Whatever it is, write a list – and stick to it!”

2. Check your finances and set a budget

“There’s no point looking at houses you can’t afford – it only leads to disappointment and wasted time.

“Sit down with a mortgage advisor – an initial conversation is always free – and work out what your home budget will be and how much you’re comfortable paying on a mortgage each month.

“In my experience looking for a home, the asking price was just the beginning and bidding wars were common among desperate potential buyers.

“So when visiting homes, visit those that are under budget to give you the chance to increase your offer. And if the seller wants more than your budget – be prepared to walk away. No house is worth taking on difficult debt.”

3. Plan for extra costs

“Buying a property is always more expensive than you initially think, as little extras accumulate along the way.

“This includes but is not limited to: solicitors, mortgage advisor, identity checks, estate agent fees (if you have a property to sell), surveys and surveys – and most importantly – stamp duty, of which this Last need to pay within 14 days after completion.

“You may have enough savings for a deposit and solicitor’s fees – but have you accounted for everything else? My biggest tip – you can never have enough savings when buying a property.”
