WHILE Labor Day is weeks away, retailers have begun filling their shelves with patriotic essentials ahead of the holiday.
Dollar Tree shoppers are excited about a variety of products the discount giant has to offer, and they’re selling for a fraction of Walmart prices.
This year, Labor Day arrives on September 2, 2024, and as a federal holiday, many have the day off to celebrate with friends and family.
Fortunately, Dollar Tree has made displaying patriotism accessible.
“Running to my DT right now!” one fan gushed on Facebook after Dollar Tree announced the new items.
“I’m looking forward to checking out Dollar Tree to see what they have this season,” said another user.
Most Labor Day finds cost between $1.25 and $5.
One item that Dollar Tree sells in particular is the classic American flag.
The discount retailer is selling a pack of three miniature American flags for $1.25, as opposed to Walmart’s four miniature flags for $2.32.
The three flags equal 42 cents at Dollar Tree, where it would cost 58 cents at Walmart.
OTHER THEFTS
In addition to American flags, Dollar Tree is also selling other stolen Labor Day pieces.
Their patriotic table covers cost $1.25 as opposed to $2 at Walmart.
For those who choose to decorate the exterior of their homes, Dollar Tree is selling banners and bunting for the low price of $1.25.
Walmart, on the other hand, is selling a pack of four flags for $16.97, which is $4.24 each.
Hosts can also impress their guests without breaking the bank with an eight-pack of 16-ounce patriotic tumblers for $1.25.
While Walmart doesn’t have the same style, they do sell a pack of American flag cups for $13.89.
