START spooky season with an affordable Dollar Tree set of classic taper candles from Anthropologie.
Dollar Tree candles are just $1.25 each, while a set of two is $36 at the department store.
Sivan (@frugal_mom) finds high-quality items to help other families save money.
She spotted the white candles with black bats at Dollar Tree and immediately recognized them as similar to the ones at Anthropologie.
“I love it when Dollar Tree gives us a copy of a high-quality item,” she he wrote in an Instagram post.
“Grab them when you see them as I can guarantee they will fly off the shelves.”
Anthropologie has already sold out of its bat taper candles, and the Dollar Tree candles have been selling quickly since they went viral.
A TikToker (@themoonlitnook) managed to pick up the last three at his local Dollar Tree.
“When I saw Dollar Tree had these bat candles I had to run out and buy some,” she wrote in the caption.
The candles are not listed on the Dollar Tree website and inventory varies by store.
SCARY ECONOMY
Dollar Tree stocks tons of affordable Halloween decorations that are almost identical to those at stores like Target and Michaels.
Bargain hunters have found a Plastic Skeleton Garland for just $1.25 at the discount store.
It’s very similar to the one at Target Funworld Scary Skeletons Wreath Decoration.
Target’s option is a foot longer than Dollar Tree’s, but costs $17.99.
Customers had rave reviews about the cheaper option.
“Halloween is my favorite time of year and these spooky skeleton garlands definitely add an awesome touch to indoor and/or outdoor decor,” wrote one customer.

Many suggested taking the skeletons off the line and using them for crafts or even to hand out when trick-or-treating.
“Great value and lots of fun! We’ve taken them apart and are giving them away to the SPOOKS!” wrote one buyer.
Dollar Tree also sells spooky florals, like a man-eating plant, a rose with an eyeball in the middle, and a flower with vampire teeth.
Each one costs just $3, and the man-eating plant looks similar to Michales’ Venus Flytrap.
However, the latter is priced at $30.
“Dollar Tree has been my decorating go-to for a long time. They have so many cute things,” he wrote a buyer on Reddit.
The discount store also sells a spooky Pottery Barn dupe for $30 less.
Check out the $1.25 decoration, which is 88% cheaper than a similar one from Target.
