A COSTCO member shared his anger after witnessing shocking behavior from a fellow shopper.
They said his membership should be revoked as punishment.
The Reddit community r/Costco provides an unofficial space for Costco members to vent their frustrations with the store and other customers.
Recently, one of them started a thread to express his outrage after coming across an example of reckless behavior while shopping.
The Redditor posted a photo showing a package of three steaks discarded in a box of Listerine bottles by another customer.
“Membership revoked,” they insisted. “Straight to prison.”
“Why?” they asked.
Others in the comments were equally outraged.
“This makes me very sad,” wrote one.
“An animal died for nothing here. Trash humans.”
‘It’s also complete disrespect for the animal itself’, pointed out another.
“You leaving perishable food, giving you the right to prison,” wrote a fourth. “Right now.”
ANOTHER COSTCO OFFENSE
It wasn’t the only time recently that a Costco regular was outraged by a colleague’s behavior.
Also on r/Costco, a member reported seeing another customer drop a couch outside the store after its return was refused.
The Redditor claimed that the sofa’s owner tried to get a refund 15 years after purchasing it.
‘”So they just left/threw it away! Rude.” they wrote.
Costco members were not only outraged at each other, but also at the store.
Several shoppers recently took to Reddit with their complaints about the store’s raw poultry.
“Thighs are just sticky and horrible and liquid is always a serious problem,” wrote one.
Another agreed: “I feel like half the chicken bags are already leaking before you cut them. It’s amazing they don’t have hand sanitizer in the area, they’re all covered in chicken juice.”
Costco shoppers were recently surprised to learn that the new CFO is giving up a historic privilege.
