APPLEBEE’S has delighted customers with the reintroduction of a beloved $1 cocktail.
Fans say their “prayers have been answered” — and the drink arrives just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
Applebee’s announced that the Dollarita will be back on the menu starting May 1st.
The casual restaurant chain’s $1 version of the classic margarita hasn’t been available since 2023.
For no more than $1, diners can enjoy the refreshing flavors of tequila, triple sec and lime, shaken and served over ice.
The Mexican-inspired drink arrives just in time for Cinco de Mayo, celebrated on May 5th.

What’s more, customers can also opt for the deluxe edition, strawberry remix or mango Dollaritas, both costing $1.50.
Applebee’s fans shared their excitement over Dollarita’s return in social media.
“Our prayers have been heard!!!” wrote one in Instagram.
One posted on X: “I will definitely wear my Dollarita shirt!”
“Sounds like a great time,” agreed another.
To go along with these Dollaritas, Applebee’s has also added new chicken and bacon fries to the menu.
SHAKE THINGS UP
Applebee’s isn’t the only chain restaurant offering a new cocktail.
Last month, Chili’s put a unique spin on the beloved espresso martini.
Instead of the usual vodka, the restaurant makes its espresso martinis with Reposado tequila.
Meanwhile, those who prefer a regular margarita can add one to select meals for just $3.49.
DRINKS AT HOME
Meanwhile, those who prefer to drink at home also have two interesting new options.
Both Jack Daniel’s and Jim Bean have released new ready-to-drink canned beverages for the summer.
Jack Daniel’s hard tea is available in four flavors – original, peach, raspberry and blackberry.
Jim Bean’s line of Kentucky Coolers can be found in peach, orange and blueberry. strawberry.
