KOHL’S announced it will offer customers a pop-up shopping experience later this year.
The project is expected to be fully completed just in time for Christmas.
Kohl’s said the change was designed directly to accommodate “both prospective and experienced parents” in an environment Press release on Wednesday.
At least 200 Kohl’s locations will feature sections curated by Babies “R” Us.
They will be fully equipped with “expanded varieties” from “trusted brands” and allow parents to get more of what they need from the retailer.
Sections are laid out to include everything from baby furniture to equipment, accessories, activities, and other miscellaneous products.
Kohl’s will also have baby, toddler and children’s clothing placed alongside the Babies “R” Us pop-up stores.
The apparel area will include items from brands like Nike, Carters, Jumping Beans and even Little Co. by Lauren Conrad.
Kohl’s explained that the idea was to create a “comprehensive baby shopping experience” for customers.
Babies “R” Us products are now available nationwide to Kohl’s online shoppers.
The 200 locations seek to bring this experience in person.
The first Babies “R” Us pop-ups at Kohl’s will begin appearing in August, according to the release.
A definitive date for the first pop-up was not provided.
It is also unclear in what state it will open.
