Chili’s confirms it has closed store doors for good with definitive statement to customers – after ‘difficult decision’ about future

CHILI’S has spoken out about closing one of its stores just days after fans feared the chain would collapse.

The Texas-based chain closed a location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in March, but confirmation of the closure was just made by a Chili’s spokesperson.

The chain has made it clear that the location’s recent closure, 27 years after it opened, should not be interpreted as a sign of a struggling business.

Last year, the chain closed 16 locations in California, Tennessee and Virginia.
