Burger King brought mozzarella fries back to the menu on May 18, and customers are going crazy for them.

Fried cheese sticks have been a staple on the fast food chain’s menu for the past few years.

But this time, customers have noticed that each stick is thinner than before, which some say has resulted in a better flavor.

Common Reddit Thread for fast food fans, one wrote: “I think these are much better than the old ones. Can taste the seasoning.”

Another described the new product as “mozzarella sticks, but crunchier, which was actually the main problem with the old mozzarella sticks, they always came out a little wet.

“It’s worth a try,” they added.

“They have a different flavor than the previous ones, leaner and tastier,” added a third. “Plus, the cheese is fresh and springy.”

Mozzarella fries are available in orders of four, eight and 12 pieces and prices vary by location.

Each order comes with a jar of marinara sauce for dipping.

Burger King calls the new item “the mozzarella sticks you love, now made to enjoy on the go.”

Burger King fans can get free food from May 28th as the chain celebrates its anniversary – just like claiming your fries and pie

The menu option may remind you a bit of fries, first introduced to Burger King’s menu in 2005.

Other fast food chains known for selling mozzarella fries include Arby’s, Sonic, and Culver’s.

Mozzarella fries aren’t the only new addition to Burger King’s menu.

To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Birthday Pie Slices will be available for a limited time.

The slices feature “creamy pie filling with a birthday cake flavor” and will be available while supplies last.

Restaurant renovation

Burger King is in the process of significantly remodeling its U.S. restaurants.

The chain is spending $300 million to modernize and improve its restaurants.

Owner Restaurant Brands International expects 85% to 90% of Burger King locations to have the same modern design by 2028.

Many locations will have to temporarily close to allow for renovations.

But Burger King hopes the new look will attract customers and prevent further permanent restaurant closures.

Starting May 28, Burger King will continue the celebrations by offering a different menu item for free every day for a week.

This will include the Original Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Whopper Jr.

However, customers must be a member of Burger King’s Royal Perks loyalty program to earn free food.
