This branch was a long-standing restaurant in the area.

It was located in the Cofer Crossing shopping center, near Lawrenceville Highway, which is home to stores such as Kroger and Walmart.

The branch would have unexpectedly closed its doors on May 13, according to Tomorrow’s News Today – Atlanta.

Staff and customers would not have been informed of the decision to close until last week.

This location was also listed as “permanently closed” on Google Maps.

The chain also did not give a reason for the decision to permanently close the location.

This location was built in 1998 and occupied about 5,000 square feet, according to DeKalb County documents obtained by Tomorrow’s News Today – Atlanta.

The future of this site has not been confirmed.

This location is considered a desirable location for dining or retail as it is located on the premises of the Cofer Crossing mall but was independently owned.

Some local residents took it to Facebook to share your thoughts following the news.
