DUNKIN’ is helping fans quench their thirst with a new giant 40-ounce cup that pays homage to the donut shop’s roots.

After being founded in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1950, Dunkin’ became a staple in the area.

To honor the locals who helped the company become the business it is today, Dunkin’ is releasing a new 40-ounce cup with a name that only those with the thickest New England accents can pronounce correctly – Wicked Lahhhge.

The company said the new product was “inspired by the grand accent heard in our New England stronghold.”

Customers can’t wait to get their hands on the cup, but it’s only available at participating stores.

“This is exactly what I need,” he wrote a fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I hope this isn’t a joke,” wrote another.

“A cold almond mocha drink lahhhge, please!” added a third client.

Without the cup, the biggest sizes you can get at Dunkin’ are 32-ounce cold drinks and 24-ounce hot drinks.

At Starbucks, the biggest drink you can get is a Trenta, which weighs 30 ounces.

SUMMER ADVENTURE

Earlier this month, Dunkin’ launched several drinks and treats with classic summer flavors.

First up is the Kiwi Watermelon Refresher, which was apparently a response to the fan-favorite Refreshers at Starbucks.

Customers can enjoy the drink with green tea or lemonade and are promised to taste the “essence of summer” with every sip.

The Watermelon Burst donut also debuted, with watermelon-flavored jam in the center and a sweet sugar topping.

Dunkin’ also launched Blueberry Donut Coffee and Vanilla Frosted Donut Signature Latte to celebrate National Donut Day on June 7.

“When you realize Dunkin’ Donuts sweetened iced green tea with blueberry flavor, I might have to cheat on the Starbucks guys. Okay,” one customer wrote in a post to X.

Dunkin’ customers were captivated by the Sparkd’ Energy drink, released in two flavors, Berry Burst and Peach Sunrise.

The fruity, carbonated drinks contain just 144 milligrams of caffeine, compared to 294 milligrams in an iced coffee.

Order yourself

Fast food restaurants are constantly updating their menus with new items. The US Sun summarized some of the latest menu changes:

The US Sun’s Dan O’Connor – who is also a dedicated Dunkin’ fan – did a taste test of both flavors and found them to be “heavily carbonated”, similar to a typical seltzer.

He said it tasted similar to a Celcius energy drink, but had a slightly bitter taste.

“Still, I managed to finish the light drink in about half an hour. A few hours later, I was still a little nervous. I was glad I didn’t order a large drink,” he said.

“Overall, the strange aftertaste and unusual sensation of what appears to be a bubbly refreshment might be too much to get used to – I’ll probably stick to coffee and plain refreshments in the future – but the drink might be right for you.”

In other fast food news, Burger King is bringing back a discontinued iconic item with some new updates.
