COSTCO buyers shared their excitement after a major policy change.
Members expressed their joy at the partnership between Costco and Uber Eats.
This collaboration meant the food delivery app would allow Costco groceries to be delivered directly to people’s homes.
The service will only be available in select locations nationwide.
A big plus is that this service will be open to non-Costco members.
Because it is a subscription-based store, previously shoppers could only enter and purchase from the store if they had an annual subscription.
This service gives non-members the option of enjoying the store’s food without the need for a subscription.
However, these shoppers will have to pay a premium for these products as Costco members will receive a 15% to 20% discount, according to CNBC.
Customers shared their excitement on X, formerly Twitter, and said which specific items they were most excited to welcome into their homes.
Several fans shared that they were excited about the possibility of ordering Costco hot dogs to their homes.
“Uber eats me $15 worth of Costco hot dogs,” an X user posted.
“I can finally get Costco hot dogs delivered to my home,” another fan posted.
“That’s right !!”
User X Evan (@SharesMKTNewz) shared a screenshot of the Costco page on an Uber Eats profile.
This image showed some of the supplies available.
This included bottles of almond milk and a tub of Greek yogurt.

The warehouse chain has an extremely relaxed return policy compared to other stores.
While many retailers have a 30- or 60-day return period, many Costco members shared their surprise that Costco does not have this.
The store advertises “100% satisfaction guarantee,” with only a few exceptions.
One shopper shared his surprise when he was able to return a packet of almonds he had purchased.
The customer said he opened the bag but felt the nuts were not as “salty” as he would have liked.
