ARBY’S fans are saying goodbye to one location as signs confirm its demise and thank loyal customers.

The fast-food chain has permanently closed the doors of one of its locations in Wilson Borough, Pennsylvania.

Arby’s is the second largest fast-food company in the world, with more than 3,500 locations worldwide.

No reason for this week’s closure was given, but if Arby’s fans head to the now-closed location, all they will see are cardboard boxes scattered around the diner.

Some signs were placed at the site thanking customers for the service provided.

“We want to thank all our valued customers, but unfortunately this location is closed,” says the sign on the door.

“Thank you for all the years we spent together… I hope to see you all soon.”

The note signed by management and employees directs customers to the nearest locations that are still open.

One of them is an Arby’s in Phillipsburg, New Jerseyand the other is in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The Phillipsburg location opened in January, occupying the vacant lot of a closed Ahart’s supermarket.

Local residents who reacted to the News about Facebook are not surprised by the latest closure.

“Wow, they had the worst customer service at that location anyway,” one said. he wrote in the comments to the news.

“I was wondering why the place was still there, it’s horrible and no one goes there,” read another brutal comment.

Some blamed the chain for the closure for placing two stores too close to each other.

“There’s another Arby’s literally a few miles away,” he wrote.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen two Arby’s so close together.”

“There’s a Brand New Arby’s just over the bridge in Phillipsburg!” another said.

Meanwhile, others blamed the statewide community as they debated what they wanted to replace the shuttered diner.

Restaurant Closings in 2024

BOSSes of major restaurant chains have announced a series of restaurant closures. The US Sun has compiled a list of those affected by the network.

  • Biscuit Barrel: Stores in Medford, Oregon, Columbia, South Carolina and Sacramento, California, closed.
  • Mod Pizza: Bosses drastically closed 27 stores, including in the state of California.
  • Frisch’s Big Boy: Restaurant bosses have confirmed the closure of a restaurant in Covington, Kentucky.
  • Two dolars: Four restaurants in Ohio are set to close.
  • Pepper: A restaurant in Port Arthur, Texas, has closed permanently.
  • Friendly: Bosses have confirmed that an establishment in Ronkonkoma, Long Island, will close.
  • Pizza Hut: A restaurant in Glen Falls, New York, closed at the end of March.
  • Danny: Two restaurants in Boise and Nampa, Idaho, have closed.
  • Carl’s Jr.: The first location in Boise, Idaho, has closed.

“I drove by Wilson for work reasons that aren’t exactly Cool looking at the city,” said one Facebook user.

Suggestions for a replacement arose with requests for a Popeyesa Jersey Mikes and a Maryland Fried Chicken.

In recent times, the local area has seen several closures and vacant land left to rot.

One Los Angeles The fitness location that was near the now-closed Arby’s closed its doors four months ago.

The gym was located near an abandoned Dixie Cup factory, which has been in ruins for decades, and a vacant Kmart that closed in December 2019.

The US Sun has reached out to Arby’s for comment.
