‘I Canceled My Walmart+ Today’ Shopper Furious After ‘Trash’ Decision — But Double Down Finally Made Her Say ‘That’s It’

A WALMART shopper explained what made him take the risk and cancel his subscription to the retailer.

The customer said an apparent issue at checkout caused him to stop paying for Walmart+.

Walmart+ is a premium subscription with exclusive perks and benefits that the retailer offers its customers.

Some of these perks include free delivery, fuel savings and the mobile scan & go feature, The US Sun previously reported.

These aspects were designed to elevate the shopping experience for customers, making it easier and more convenient.

Subscription costs $12.95 per month or $98 for the annual plan.

TAM Tam (@Taylorta84) said her experience with the store’s self-service machines pushed her to the limit with the special signature, in an X, formerly Twitter, publish.

The scan & go signature system allows shoppers to use their phones to scan items as they move around the store.

These customers can then go to an ATM, scan a QR code on the cash register and pay, rather than re-scanning each item.

TamTam said he was often unable to do this because self-service kiosks were often closed in his store.

She shared that duplication in the store pushed her over the edge.

“I canceled my @Walmart+ today,” she said.

“It was rubbish enough that the self checkouts weren’t open most of the time, but when the self checkout monitor had to rescan my items, that was it.”

TamTam said it would turn to traditional in-store checkout methods.

“If they have to scan everything, I better get through the line,” she said.

Walmart+ membership also offered people perks outside of the store.

Members get free access to the Paramount+ Essential Plan, which can save Plus buyers up to $59.99 per year.

Customers can also benefit from their membership while exploring new places through Walmart+ Travel.

Members can get up to 5% Walmart Cash on reservations, activities and travel spending.

These advantages don’t just have to be enjoyed by the person paying for the subscription.

Benefits can be shared with family members who live at the same address as the Walmart+ account.

Multiple member profiles cannot be created on the account.
