A Sam’s Club shopper vented his frustrations Facebook after they were denied a refund for their purchase.

The customer purchased coffee capsules at an advertised discount of $6.

However, they noticed on the receipt that they had been charged full price.

“We sent copies of the receipt and this refund receipt to customer service to show that this was the reason we wanted to return it – we didn’t get the discount in the first place,” they wrote.

When they requested a refund, the $6 discount was included in the refund, leaving them with $6 out of pocket.

“Instead, customer service disconnected the chat with instructions to view the receipt and refund policy,” they wrote.

“I tried to reconnect to try again, but decided it wasn’t worth arguing over $6 after that.”

The customer explained that until then they had been loyal customers of Sam’s Club.

“Most importantly, we have been members for many years and spend a lot, and I mean A LOT, of money at Sam’s Club – Not anymore.

“We will cancel our subscription – yes, more than $6.”

In the post, the customer added that he “misses Costco” but no longer lives in an area with a local store.

Sam’s Club noticed the post and commented: “Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

“This is not the type of experience we want to provide.”

They invited the customer to get in touch to provide assistance.
