A WALMART customer rejected the store’s delivery option after receiving moldy food.
They think a rival retailer offers better customer service.
A Walmart buyer appealed X after a bad experience with the store’s delivery service.
As they explained, they recently switched from Shipt, a third-party delivery service, to Walmart Plus.
Shipt offers deliveries from a wide variety of stores, including Target.
“One problem with Walmart Plus compared to Shipt – when your customer buys moldy food with Shipt, they refund it, no questions asked,” they wrote.
“Walmart does not have chat support and expects you to physically return moldy food.”
The angry customer explained that returning the food in person was not always an option.
“Some people use these services because they cannot shop independently!”
Walmart stepped in to respond.
“We want our customers to enjoy using our services,” the grocer wrote.
Walmart encouraged the shopper to send a DM so they could investigate further.
