Only one supermarket chain will stock heat-and-eat options.

Hooters is bringing its snacks and snacks to grocery store shelves with its first line of homemade meals.

Four products in bright orange Hooters packaging are now available in more than 1,300 Publix stores all over the country.

The four options include:

  • BBQ Smoked Wings: Smoked chicken wings drizzled with rich smoky barbecue sauce
  • Dry Rub Smoked Wings: Smoked chicken wings drizzled with a bold Texas-style barbecue rub
  • Buffalo Style Boneless Wingz: Breaded chicken with spicy buffalo sauce
  • Buffalo Style Popcorn Chicken: Breaded chicken with spicy buffalo sauce

The suggested retail price of each product, ranging from 12 oz. at 16 ounces, it ranges from $7.49 to $8.99.

Each product can be easily heated in home ovens or deep fryers to replicate the restaurant experience.

Other retail chains are expected to distribute Hooters products frozen appetizers and snacks later this year.

Furthermore, four additional products are expected to be available by the end of 2024.

“Whether it’s an easy meal at home or planning on-the-go, consumers now have another way to enjoy Hooters’ world-famous taste with these new frozen appetizers and snacks,” said Hooters of America CMO Bruce Skala in a statement. press release.

Publix has stores in eight states, including Alabama, Florida, GeorgiaKentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

HOOTERS HISTORY

There are now 367 Hooters restaurants in 36 states and 18 countries.

Known for its world-famous Hooters Style chicken wings, the first Hooters opened its doors in 1983 in Clearwater, Florida.

The restaurant is also known for inventing the so-called “breastuarant” category with its Hooters Girls servers.

Hooters already owned an airline, Hooters Air, with a regular flight crew and scantily clad flight attendants and Hooters Girls on every flight.

Whether it’s an easy meal at home or planning for takeout, consumers now have another way to enjoy Hooters’ world-famous taste with these new frozen appetizers and snacks.

HOOTERS LOCKS

However, Hooters has been forced to close restaurants since the pandemic.

Earlier this month, it permanently closed its last remaining location in Rhode Island.

A note was left in one of the restaurant’s windows informing customers of the closure, according to The Providence Diary.

The outage was attributed to the collapse of the Washington Bridge.

Customers held a candlelight vigil for the closing of a Hooters in West Virginia.
