The individually wrapped snacks consist of a soft and chewy Japanese-style rice cake with a tapioca pearl in the center surrounded by a creamy topping.

Trader Joe’s describes it as a “deconstructed bubble drink” with caramelized brown sugar flavor.

Boba mochis are made by a Taiwanese supplier who knows the tried-and-true boba-making techniques that originated in the country in the 1980s.

Customers strongly approve of the new treat and it has been flying off the shelves since it was launched.

I absolutely love it! I could finish a bag a day!

Trader Joe’s Shopper

“Selling like hotcakes, so more love them than not. Mochi is polarizing, it’s a texture thing,” one person commented on one publish from Trader Joe’s on Instagram.

“I stocked up. I love Mochi, I love brown sugar milk boba. This is the best of both worlds!” added another

“I absolutely love this! I could finish a bag a day!” said one customer.

Another customer suggested putting them in the freezer, saying that makes them “even better.”

One shopper said Trader Joe’s mochi is better than similar boba, milk tea and brown sugar mochi from Costco.

This snack is only available for a limited time, so don’t wait to try it.

OFF THE SHELVES

‘It tastes exactly as it should,’ says Trader Joe’s fan of the new item — it’s all about the crunch and it’s here for a limited time

Trader Joe’s shoppers are saying a new item has been eliminated just one day after it launched.

Bake at Home Organic Garlic Bread retailed for just $3.99 for a 12-ounce package.

It was described as a “rustic, hearty pre-sliced bread seasoned with a surprisingly flavorful and herbaceous garlic parmesan spread.”

The bread also had a shelf life of 180 days, making it a possible pantry staple.

However, customers did not like this.

“Yes, we had to take this off the shelves via corporate. I don’t know how you ruin garlic bread, but…” said one supposed employee in a Reddit thread.

Another person added: “[They] I was told the bread was so bad that they only left it on the shelves for a day before taking it off the shelves in some sort of recall.”

It is unclear whether the bread was removed by company-wide decision or at select locations.

The US Sun reached out to Trader Joe’s for more information.

Another new Trader Joe’s dessert has fans divided over its flavor.
