A COSTCO and Walmart customer criticized both chains for discontinuing his favorite store cupboard product.
This shopper predicted a dismal outcome for retailers and said he would no longer shop there.
Chad Youngquist shared his rant on Facebook, to the support of other fans.
Youngquist was complaining about not being able to find Yoshida’s teriyaki sauce.
“That’s it,” he wrote in the post.
“I’m canceling Costco and Walmart.
“They don’t sell Yoshida’s teriyaki sauce anymore.”
Youngquist was concerned about a specific meal he used this sauce for.
“How can I make my burgers?” he asked.
This shopper shared her anger at Costco and Walmart when they stopped stocking this item.
The Costco website listed this product as unavailable and the sauce is also sold out at Walmart website.
“They are doomed!” he said.
“I bet they’re scared right now!”
Other Facebook users agreed with Youngquist and declared their love for this sauce.
“You mean the sauce that makes the best burgers in the world???” one commenter wrote.
“Actually, my neighbor came to ask me for some this afternoon after I told his wife yesterday that I had a huge bottle,” said another person.
Discontinued Items
Many companies have changed their offerings in the past and that has meant saying goodbye to some fan favorites.
Some shoppers have even reached out to companies to bring back some of their old favorites they lost:

“I know!!!” they wrote.
“Safeway doesn’t have it either!!!!”
DISMISS
This isn’t the only loss of supermarket shelves that has broken shoppers’ hearts.
Lay’s has quietly removed its Sour Cream and Onion flavor from stores, The US Sun previously reported.
Some customers even created and signed an online petition to ask the company to bring it back.
Fans also mourned the loss of International Delight’s one touch latte line.
