I’m canceling my Sam’s Club membership after the network messes up shipping – and they won’t even give me a full refund

A SAM’S Club customer has threatened to cancel her subscription to the retailer after a disappointing time.

She also said the store didn’t give her a refund.

In a recent social media post, Amy Blazer expressed frustration with her experience with Sam’s Club when trying to ship a grill.

Blazer reported difficulties in obtaining a refund and delays in communicating with the carrier.

“Let’s cancel our subscription,” she wrote.

“I don’t recommend Sam’s Club!”

Responding quickly to the complaint, Sam’s Club acknowledged the issue in a comment on its post.

The initial response was, “Hi, Amy. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Allow us to look further into this matter.

“We kindly ask that you join us in a private message to continue our conversation.”

Blazer later updated his post to confirm that the issue had been resolved.

In a subsequent response, Sam’s Club expressed gratitude for the update: “Hi, Amy. Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for the overall experience.

“We are very happy to hear the good news. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

It is unclear whether Blazer canceled his membership following this incident and its resolution.

ANOTHER ASSOCIATION MISHAP

In similar news, a shopper criticized the retailer over a recent change to Sam’s Club’s shipping policy.

Sam’s Club members must meet a minimum spending threshold of $50 to qualify for free shipping.

Concerned buyers have expressed their intention to consider pausing their subscriptions in response to the new requirement.

“This is… extreme,” one shopper posted on X.

“$25 would be reasonable, but $50? Who do they think they are, Nike? We’re talking about groceries, not Air Jordans.”

The retailer he responded saying they “value” customer feedback.

“Plus members will continue to have early shopping hours along with free curbside pickup,” the retailer responded.

“This means you can avoid the crowds and easily shop before regular club hours. Feel free to contact us with any questions. Thank you for choosing Sam’s Club.”

Meanwhile, Sam’s Club CEO shared that the company is looking to model its private label after Costco.

And some Sam’s Club customers are complaining about a policy that forces them to pay a higher price for purchases at specific times.
