Dollar Tree’s Viral $1.25 Crystal Buds Are Flying Off the Shelves — They’re Identical to Walmart, But Half the Price Cheaper

DOLLAR Tree is selling crystal pulls that add a touch of elegance to boring drawers.

The buttons are similar to what Walmart is currently selling for twice the price.

By comparison, a similar button at Walmart costs $20 for a 10-piece pack.

At that price, that means each piece at Walmart costs just over $2.

A ‘must have’

Dollar Tree crystal buttons caught the attention of Do-It-Yourself influencer Talisa Lindsay, who she recently featured as a “must have” in a viral video about her Facebook page called DIY Living.

“Some of my favorite picks Dollar Tree has this week are these cute glass buttons. Have you seen them?” she said.

The video so far has 46,000 views, as of this post.

Lindsay has 333,000 followers on Facebook.

She added that they come in four different shapes and three colors, namely two light-colored diamond-shaped and round buds, one light blue flower-shaped one, and one light pink flower-shaped one.

One of them, Lindsay said, “looks like a diamond.”

The video drew a lot of comments from other Dollar Tree customers, many of whom said they have yet to see the buttons in their respective stores.

“Ideas about how I could use them are boiling!” said one user.

Another user, however, had an unpleasant experience with the product.

“I thought they were so pretty, but for some reason, I took them off and they smelled horrible, so I had to put them back on,” she said.

The same user initially planned to use the diamond buds as decorations for her wedding jars, until she smelled them.

STRETCHING YOUR MONEY ON THE DOLLAR TREE

Dollar Tree items, as the name suggests, cost one dollar.

But faced with persistent inflation, Dollar Tree announced in 2022 that all of its stores moved to a slightly higher primary price: $1.25.

“Amid unprecedented inflation, Dollar Tree recently changed its prime price to $1.25 in order to continue offering our customers all the products they know and love, plus hundreds of new ones, and to bring back customer favorites at an incredible value,” it said on its website.

“Many of the items we sell are sold for higher prices elsewhere, which means our customers can stretch their dollars to get the products they need at an extreme value,” he added.

Despite the slight price increase, there is still good value for money at the Dollar Store, as reported in other articles by The US Sun.

While the items are certainly affordable, it’s not always easy to find what you’re looking for at a Dollar Tree store.

As one buyer described it, it’s “always a complete mess.”

Getting an item at a Dollar Tree store is one thing. Returning it for a refund is another – that is, if you can get a refund.
