A MALL favorite is set to close one of its stores for the final time later this month.
Fashion retailer Ardene has launched a major sale by closing its only location in the Lehigh Valley region of northeastern Pennsylvania.
This closure at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Allentown will leave only two other Ardene stores in all of Pennsylvania.
These other branches are located in Philadelphia and Lancaster.
Ardene has 250 stores around the world, but this branch is expected to close in less than two weeks.
The store’s last official date is set for July 28, according to the sign in the store’s window, according to local broadcaster WFMZ.

This closure was combined with a “huge sale” that offered fans between 70% and 80% off all clothing.
All of these sales are final, so shoppers have been advised that they will not be able to return any sale products they purchase.
These great deals also mean that all shoes will be $2 and a huge accessories deal is underway.
Lucky buyers will be able to purchase 10 accessories for $10 in the coming days.
Customers should be aware that the changing rooms at this store are closed.
Some residents shared their excitement about this big sale in the comments of a Facebook publish.
“Let’s go,” one person wrote while tagging their friend.
“Everyone loves a good sale,” they added.
RETAIL APOCALYPSE
Ardene wasn’t the only retailer to close one of its malls, The US Sun previously reported.
Popular fashion chain Rainbow Shops has offered shoppers a 40% discount on all items as it prepares to close its doors.
Store closures in 2024
The ongoing retail apocalypse has hit more and more retailers and resulted in more stores closing.
The US Sun has previously reported on several chains saying goodbye to some of their locations.
It will say goodbye to its branch at the Hamilton Mall in Hamilton, New Jersey, about 15 miles west of Atlantic City.
This struggling mall has lost several other major retailers in recent years, including Sear’s and JCPenney.
Discount retailer Big Lots has confirmed it will close between 35 and 40 stores.
This network revealed this news in a financial report presented last month.
Big Lots had already closed more than 50 locations last year and another 13 this year.
The network lost US$132 million in the first three months of this year.
US Sun has reached out to Ardene for comment.
