A longtime Sam’s Club member left the store behind and began telling his friends to leave too.

The buyer was unhappy after an incident at the store’s tire center in Sarasota, Florida.

Facebook user Don shared his story online.

It all started this spring when he stuck a screwdriver in his tire.

He went to the Sam’s Club tire center to ask for help changing the tire.

But because of a long wait, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

TIRED OUT

“I went to the tire center and was told the wait would be at least an hour and a half to two hours,” Don said in his post.

“So I said I would change the tire myself.”

Then he asked the technicians for informal help.

“I asked one of the technicians if they could use the floor jack to make changing the tire easier,” he said.

The technician went to find a manager, who told Don that this was not possible.

“I was told they would be more than happy to change this once they finished their appointments.

‘Time to go’ angers Sam’s customer canceling subscription after 30 years over card issue – he begged for help for hours

“It would have taken me two minutes to put it together because I had everything ready, which is terrible customer service,” he said.

He then canceled his membership after 25 years.

“Thanks, Sam’s, for my hundred dollar subscription back,” he said. “I recommend anyone who has had a problem here. Cancel your subscription. Get your refund at BJ’s or Costco.

It’s unclear if there is a specific policy that prevents you from changing the tire, but stores generally don’t allow customers to use their materials for free.

Sam’s Club responded to the post, asking to continue the conversation in direct messages.

It’s unclear whether Don has been in touch.

MORE CLUB NEWS

Sam’s Club has faced pushback recently over a change to its membership perks.

Those who pay for a Plus subscription currently receive free shipping on orders, but this will change soon.

The company is implementing a flat $8 fee for shipping orders valued at less than $50.

Some said the change will affect those who live furthest from stores the most.

Others said they are “struggling” to see value in their $110 annual subscription.

A member recently shared how he was charged for three subscriptions.
