Dollar Tree Idiots

Savvy Shoppers Scoured Dollar Tree to Find Dumb Takedowns of Their Favorite Products

Even though it’s a fraction of the cost, Dollar Tree fans are raving about the dinnerware.

“Tough plate for…$1?” began one five-star reviewer.

“These plates are quite heavy and thick – surprising quality for the price!! The gray color is a medium tone neutral gray. With reasonable care they should last…but if they don’t…it’s only…$1 !!!”

Another shopper shared that they had had the Dollar Tree signs for over a year and were still holding on.

I know all the best beauty dupes at Dollar Tree — they have $1.25 versions of Tower 28, L’Oreal, and Physician’s Formula

They also noticed that the dishes were not marked by cutlery.

MORE DOUBLES

Five Below is also a popular destination for duped products.

The company replicated products from Sol de Janeiro, a skincare and fragrance company that gained popularity last year.

Five under Solar Flare Caramel Dreams Aroma is an idiot for 62 of the Sun of Januaryits Pink Hibiscus perfume deceives the company’s 68, and the Vanilla Plum Nectar perfume corresponds to 40.

Beauty influencer Cortney Dryden (@cortneydryden) tested the perfumes and lotions for each scent in a TikTok video From April.

She smelled Caramel Dreams perfume and 62 Sol de Janeiro for the first time.

“Oh my God,” said Dryden. “I’m not kidding when I say this is the best asshole I’ve ever smelled.”

She tried Sol de Janeiro’s 68 perfume and Five Below Pink Hibiscus perfume next, saying the dupe was “definitely not as good” but that it was “close enough.”

Dryden then smelled Vanilla Plum Nectar, a trick to Sol de Janeiro’s 40.

“It’s so instantly recognizable,” she said. “This one is perfect and I bet if you put a layer of body butter on it you’d get this longevity.”

“Scent-wise, these $5 scents from Five Below are legitimately the best Sol de Janeiro dupes I’ve ever smelled,” concluded Dryden.

In related news, Dollar Tree shoppers are raving over a $1.25 storage item that’s a copy of a $34 Anthropologie product.

Plus, Dollar Tree’s $1.25 Pet Essential is identical to an Amazon product, but 80% cheaper.
