WALMART customers have repeatedly had problems with a service meant to make shopping for groceries a quick experience.
Many retailers began offering curbside pickup for online orders during the pandemic.
Customers loved the new way to get everything they needed without leaving their car.
It has become so common that most people forget that it is a relatively new service with problems that need to be solved.
Walmart shoppers have faced several hurdles with curbside pickup, including long waits when they arrive.
“I’ve been waiting at curbside pickup for over an hour. Isn’t this service supposed to save us time?” wrote customer Eyner (@eynercruz558420) in X.
“Terrible. Next time, I’ll go in.”
Walmart apologized to the customer, but it didn’t take long for another complaint to arise.
“Hey Walmart you guys are killing me,” wrote Kalee (@kaleef09).
She explained that she placed an order for curbside pickup that was delayed, despite it only being for one item.
When she tried to cancel her order, she was told only the store could cancel it.
“Walmart, the sidewalk needs to be improved. The wait and call process is terrible!” added another shopper.
“I always have to go in and get it.”
CUSTOMER CHAOS
Walmart shoppers ordering their groceries for delivery have also experienced difficulties.
Customer Alida contacted the retailer after being charged for an order that qualified for free shipping.
