SAM’S Club has been criticized by a customer who claimed they had to wait two hours while using a popular checkout service.

The member turned to X to share her frustrations about the service that promises efficiency and convenience to customers.

“I hate ordering pickup from Sam’s Club. Why does it take you guys 2 hours to get my stuff?” User Syna wrote in a publish.

The retailer quickly responded, promising to launch an investigation into the issue.

“Hi! This is not the experience we want you to have,” Sam’s Club responded.

“Please PM us with your member number, email, best contact and order number for further assistance.”

The Curbside Pickup service “allows you to shop at your club and pick up your order, all without leaving your car,” says Sam’s website States.

“Buy online or on the Sam’s Club app. When your order is ready, just come to the club and check in via text or app. Park in a curbside pickup space and we’ll load your car for you.”

However, Syna isn’t the only Sam member to complain about the service.

“Sam’s club is annoying me, I placed a 3-4 withdrawal request and it’s 3:58 and it’s still in progress, it’s 4 things,” another user he said.

“I understand it’s Saturday, but what the fuck?”

Another shopper bristled at the concept of being charged to pick up their purchases.

“This is crazy, for Sam’s Club to charge you just to pick up your own order is crazy. You’re better off going around the corner and going to the store without charging anything,” they he wrote on Facebook.

The service is currently free for those who pay for a Sam’s Club Plus subscription, which costs $110 per year.

Meanwhile, those who are Club members have to pay a $4 fee per order for the pickup service.

However, starting August 19, Plus members will only receive free shipping on orders over $50, which has angered shoppers, with some saying they will abandon their membership altogether.

While some are unhappy with the additional charge, another Sam member shared how the pickup option is saving them money by keeping them away from impulse purchases.

“I needed TWO things from Sam’s Club this morning. Got 22. Failed,” they said in a publish.

“That’s why I always do curbside pickup. If I hadn’t waited so long to place an order yesterday, I would have sat in the car and picked up my two things.

“I have no control over ‘The grandkids might like this’ or ‘I deserve a snack’ or ‘I’m sure I won’t end up throwing it away if I buy a giant container of salad.'”

While Sam’s Club shoppers debate the value of membership, others praised the warehouse club for its in-store offerings.

Those who are Chick-fil-A fans have been urged to rush to their local Sam’s in search of a “surprisingly good” jerk that costs a fraction of the price of the fast-food chain’s.
