DOLLAR Tree’s snack line is growing with new chips that taste exactly like the popular Lay’s chip.
As inflation keeps food prices high, some consumers are changing where they shop to save a few dollars.
Many have discovered that Dollar Tree has affordable versions of their favorite snacks.
The store just added Brim’s onion-flavored rings, and shoppers say they’re a change from the iconic Funyuns.
As an added bonus, Brim’s chips are vegan, while the original is not.
Customers said there were plenty of fries in the bag for just $1.25.
Meanwhile, a bag of Funyuns costs $3 at stores like Walmart.
“I personally feel like they taste better than Funyuns,” wrote one Dollar Tree customer subreddit.
For those who are not vegan but still want to save money, Dollar Tree also sells Andy Capp’s Beer Battered Onion Rings.
Shoppers rated the chips a perfect five out of five stars on the store’s website.
The brand also makes a spicy version of onion rings for those who like to give their snacks a kick.
SMART COOKIE
A money-saving mom found a Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie at Dollar Tree that can be purchased year-round.
Several companies have tried to recreate the classic flavor of mint chocolate chip cookies, but Dollar Tree may have done it better than the original.
A family bought the cookies and did a blind test that had surprising results.
“Dollar Tree’s fake Thin Mints (Fudeg Mint Cookies) were a favorite of four out of five family members,” he wrote Bonky in X.
“The idiot at Dollar Tree won the blind taste test!”
