CUSTOMERS are flocking to Aldi in search of a great deal on furniture this summer, but it will only last for a limited time.

The retailer offered a product that resembles housewares designs from major furniture companies, but for hundreds of dollars less.

Shoppers can get the SOHL Furniture Accent Cabinet to accent their home or apartment for just $69.99 starting August 7, according to Aldi’s website.

The cabinet is 31 inches tall, 31.49 inches long, and 13.77 inches wide.

It has an all-white finish and sits on four slightly inclined wooden legs, along with an adjustable shelf inside.

The handles on the cabinet’s two doors feature a black finish, and the doors themselves have a partially transparent wicker mesh in the center.

Aldi advertises that mid-century modern design will “enhance the look of your living room.”

The sale runs until August 13th, meaning customers will only have a few days to purchase the case before it’s too late.

DELAYED PENALTY

If they don’t arrive in time, shoppers could end up with similar designs from World Market and Wayfair for a lot more money.

O Rayna White Faux Rattan Stackable Storage Cabinet at World Market features the same all-white design with straight legs and is slightly taller.

Its price, however, is significantly different at $343.99 – an increase of $274, along with its two shelves instead of one adjustable one.

The Rayna White Faux Rattan Stackable Storage Cabinet is even discounted as it was originally offered for $429.99.

Similarly, Wayfair is selling a George Oliver’s Laginess Accent on your website.

It has some different qualities compared to Aldi and World Market cabinets, including the lack of rattan material on the doors.

Still, there’s an all-white design, similar measurements, adjustable shelf, and angled legs like the Aldi option.

It’s priced at $319.99, still about $250 more expensive than Aldi’s.

Aldi conditions

Aldi has several store policies that customers should be aware of. The US Sun has compiled a short list for shoppers’ next visit to their local store.

  • Customers pay a quarter for a cart and can get their coin back once they return it to the appropriate location.
  • There are no baggers and customers typically bag their purchases or cashiers offer assistance.
  • Aldi places products in the aisles with the same packaging they were shipped in from suppliers to save customers money.
  • Full refunds and exchanges are given through Aldi’s Twice as Nice policy for all Aldi branded items that customers are not satisfied with.
  • No plastic bags are sold in any Aldi store.
  • Reusable and paper bags are offered to customers.

OFFERS FOR DAYS

Other dupes from Aldi are also catching shoppers’ attention, including some three-wick candles similar to Bath & Body Works’ iconic designs.

Some customers said they noticed virtually “no difference” between Aldi’s selection, with an 80% cheaper price on certain candles.

“Every $5 candle I’ve used (especially the seasonal/festive ones) has been just as good as the B&W candles I’ve used,” wrote an Aldi shopper in a recent publish on Reddit.

Four new scents are offered through the retailer’s selection of three-wick candles, including Life of the Party, Feeling Fresh, Dreamer and Me Time.

Aldi has also recently been praised by customers for its prices.

One curious shopper compared the chain’s prices with those of another retail giant and competitor and discovered that Aldi was the low-cost winner.

Another was surprised by his $106 grocery purchase compared to the same competing retailer.
