A TACO Bell employee has revealed a crucial hack to customers that could allow them to get more beans for less.

The employee noted that the menu secret would not cost much money, but the benefit of the beans would be significant.

They released the information at the request of a fan, who noted their love for Taco Bell beans.

The customer wanted to know which specific order combination would allow the greatest quantity of grain for the same relative purchase price.

“Taco Bell employees… which option would give me the most beans?” they asked in a Reddit thread.

“No judgement, please… I love their beans.”

They also included a screenshot of the order.

The price for both was listed at $2.49 and $2.44, respectively.

An employee quickly responded that the customer had already selected the menu item with the opportunity for more beans at Taco Bell.

It would be through the Bean Burrito and the selection of extra beans.

The employee stated that the beans are distributed in the fast food chain’s menu options using two different spoons, a “green spoon” and a “red spoon”.

I worked at Taco Bell and people don’t realize that ordering is a ‘game changer’ when you want your own toppings

Green spoons supposedly offer a standard amount of beans, while red spoons are designed for smaller amounts.

In the Bean Burrito, according to the employee, there is usually a spoonful of green beans.

With the extra selection of beans, a red spoon is added.

They also confirmed that the Pinto N Cheese bowl comes with a spoonful of green beans.

This means the customer would receive a total of two green scoops and one red scoop of beans in their order.

The employee noted that it is the best option in terms of price for the beans, totaling US$4.93.

OTHER WAY?

Another suggested that the customer opt for a Bean, Cheese and Rice Burrito with their order as it costs “$1 less” compared to the Bean Burrito.

They would get a little less beans since it only contains one red spoon, but it would be cheaper, and they would still get the full green spoon in their Pinto N Cheese bowl.

“Your best bean/$ ratio would probably be a bean and cheese and rice burrito,” the Taco Bell employee wrote in one post.

“It gets a little scoop, but it costs $1 less.”

“I need to do more math on this, but that’s my theory so far,” they added.

Apparently it would make more sense for the customer to add the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito for an extra $1 or leave them out and keep the original order.

They would have to decide if the extra dollar was worth the additional little red scoop of beans.
