AN Aldi employee has taken to social media to share secrets he learned while working at the grocery store.
One secret is an easy action customers can take to get discontinued Aldi items back in stores.

On the Aldi subreddit, a three-year employee begged shoppers to ask them questions.
Many fans of the German grocery store asked about the items that flew off the shelves.
One shopper noted that he could not find coconut milk in his local store and questioned whether customers could influence the products sold at Aldi.
In response, the employee directed Redditors to the bottom of their receipts.

They looked at the Tell Aldi survey, which includes a comments section at the end.
“If more and more people say they want a certain item, they will likely start carrying it,” the employee wrote.
Customers who complete the survey will also be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift card.

The worker shared several other trade secrets about Aldi, including which products to buy and which to avoid.
They listed the cheese calzones, coconut shrimp, beef taquitos, Choceur salted pretzel milk chocolate, shredded lettuce, and tomatoes on the vine as “AMAZING” items.
The worker also noted that Aldi’s brioche chocolate chip sliced bread makes a great French toast, and the frozen German muffins, Belmont chocolate pie, and cream puffs are noteworthy dessert options.
Additionally, they pointed out Aldi snack options that seem cheaper than branded products.
“Our off-brand Cheetos puffs are much cheaper and taste exactly the same. Same thing with the white cheddar popcorn in the black bag, I actually like ours better,” they wrote.
The experienced Aldi employee noticed products he would never buy.

“[I] I can not do this. I’ve seen many people drop things on the floor and put them on the shelf or handle grapes with dirty hands. My family thinks I’m strange, I’ve seen a lot,” they said.
They warned customers to check their produce carefully before purchasing, pointing out that watermelon, potatoes and onions can spoil quickly.
“We all work for our money, don’t waste yours. It’s not the employees’ fault, it’s just the circle of life and all that. These things happen, just don’t take it home with you,” they wrote.
The employee also noted his distaste for two other Aldi items.
“People LOVE our sweet potato casserole, I hate it. I’m also not a big fan of our granola bars,” the employee said.
