A former Sephora employee has revealed the little-known policy that offers customers a free makeover — but there’s a catch.
At least one crucial criteria must be met first to take advantage of the good deal.

Fans must purchase at least $50 worth of merchandise before receiving an individualized makeover experience from the team, according to comments from former worker Aly (@alyrose_makeup) in a recent TikTok video.
Aly said it is Sephora’s policy to honor the refurbishment option if the amount spent is paid by the customer.
They just need to ask about it when checking out.
“It’s our policy that if you spend more than $50, you’re entitled to a free renovation,” she said.
It’s unclear how complex the makeover process is, but it likely only covers customers’ faces.
The secret was part of several that Aly revealed in the clip, which quickly went viral and received more than 5.8 million views.
Aly, a Sephora employee of five years, said she was frustrated after allegedly being fired for being late for work.
So, she decided to reveal some tricks that are not well known in the makeup and cosmetics network.
Another big hack the former employee said customers should consider was “unlimited free samples.”
Aly said customers could get an endless amount of product samples in the store, even the most expensive bottles of cologne and perfume.
There is also a discount on perfume refills that customers may not be aware of, according to Aly.
She said old fragrance bottles purchased at Sephora can be brought back after they are used and refilled for 50% off.

Still, the most lucrative offer for fans was the opportunity to sign up as a product reviewer.
Aly said customers who go to a website called “SephoraRouge.com” can sign up to review Sephora merchandise and receive a $700 gift card for doing so.
“You can literally get a complete makeup and skincare package for free,” promised Aly.
Sephora Rewards Program
Sephora customers in the United States and Canada can sign up for the brand’s Beauty Insider Program for free. Those who participate can earn points on purchases and use them for exclusive rewards and benefits. By spending more, customers can reach different levels, including VIB and Rouge. VIB customers spend a minimum of $350 per year and Rouge spends at least $1,000. Several advantages of being part of the Beauty Insider Program at a basic level are listed below, according to the brand’s website.
