She shares financial information and advice with her over 513,000 YouTube followers (@shalaemorgan) and spoke with The US Sun to provide tips on how to get free money and find alternative sources of income.

Morgan started by sharing how to find free money opportunities.

She first suggested watching the new local show to stay informed about upcoming guaranteed income programs.

These programs are designed to help low-income individuals with their basic needs by offering them regular cash payments.

The expert also advised those looking for free money to look for fundraising platforms and non-profit organizations.

“These entities can provide guidance and resources on how to
to access financial assistance, education and training programs,” she explained.

“By attending free seminars or reaching out to people in your network, you can connect with someone who can inform you about
programs before they are published or that want to help you achieve your financial goals.”

You never know who might offer you help, as was the case when Morgan went to the farmers market in an Army sweatshirt.

A woman approached her about the hoodie and ended up offering her an opportunity to make free money.

“It turns out she had a program that teaches veterans
how to grow and grow your own vegetables with a grant, and she needed participants.

“Participants receive a weekly stipend, and the lady also receives a stipend to teach people how to farm.”

Additionally, Morgan suggested researching rental assistance programs.

She explained that these programs are intended to benefit those who struggle to pay rent or utilities, helping to cover housing costs and avoid eviction.

Those in need of assistance may also consider calling 211, a toll-free hotline that offers information and referral services to essential resources.

Morgan listed several resources, including free shelter, food banks, health care and more.

ALTERNATIVE SOURCES OF INCOME

“There are numerous alternative income streams and opportunities that individuals can explore to achieve financial stability,” Morgan shared.

The financial expert gave several examples, including starting a side business, doing freelance work, renting a room on Airbnb, or even starting a YouTube channel.

“By exploring these options, you can diversify your income and create a more secure financial future,” she shared.

Morgan noted that one of the best ways to do this is to attend a school in a commercial or in-demand area.

“Community college is essentially free for seniors and first-time college students, and companies now offer bonuses and pay for education to attract workers,” she said.

“In the year 2024, the opportunities are endless. It’s all about reinventing yourself and finding programs that interest you.”

There is also an alternative source of income that seniors can explore.

Morgan cited as an example the Foster Grandparents program, which pays a stipend and offers benefits such as meals and transportation to those who volunteer.

“And the best part? The scholarship doesn’t count towards your benefits!” Morgan said.
