T-MOBILE has launched a new deal for internet subscribers with plans starting at just US$50.

Last month, T-Mobile announced it would reduce the price of its home internet plan from $60 to $50.

Subscribers can get an extra $5 off when they sign up for automatic payments.

Bundling the Internet package with a phone plan can save customers an additional $10 to $20 monthly.

Qualified customers can get 5G internet for as little as $40 per month, depending on where they live.

Interested consumers can use the location tool on T-Mobile’s website to see if their address is covered.

The discount comes after a price increase in January that raised the price to $60.

If the discount isn’t enough to attract new customers, T-Mobile also offers them a $200 prepaid gift card when they sign up.

This is a limited time offer, but the end date has not yet been announced.

BAD CONNECTION

T-Mobile customers criticized the company after it announced a price increase earlier this month.

The company started charging $5 more per line on June 5.

“For the first time in nearly a decade, we are making price changes to some of our tariff plans,” the company said he said.

“You will retain all the benefits you currently enjoy, including access to America’s largest and fastest 5G network, and no further action will be required on your part.”

Some newer plans will not be affected, but customers who had “Price Lock” contracts argue that their rates should never increase.

“This is not a price lock. What exactly is being locked?” asked a subscriber on Reddit.

“Blocking your lies,” responded one dissatisfied customer.
