DOLLAR tree shoppers are looking for a $1.25 version of a high-quality storage item.
Luxury retailer Anthropologie offers a match storage container, but thrifty shoppers have found an affordable alternative.
After a little crafting, you can turn an inexpensive item into a match storage with a similar appearance to the fancier version.
Economy influencer Do it for a dime shared how she used a Plastic Cloche Dome for flowers to create match storage.
After purchasing the $1.25 dome, she placed it on a glass container and glued a box of matches to it.
The end result was a tool similar to Anthropologie’s $34 tumbler Cloche Game.

BUYERS’ REACTION
Dollar Tree’s high-quality products are popular with consumers looking to save money.
That’s why thousands of people took to Instagram to see Do It On A Dime’s recent video.
“So amazing,” said one commenter.
“You always have so many cool ideas!” another said.
While some were excited about the jerk, others said they couldn’t find it at their local store.
“I couldn’t find the cloche,” said one commenter.
“I have been disappointed many times,” added another to the post. “Our stores never have good things.”
Stock can vary greatly depending on the store.
It is unclear to what extent Cloche Domes are currently stocked.
DOLLAR OFFERS
With inflation driving up costs, many are looking for cheaper alternatives to their usual products.
Some recently found a popular brand mist.
Sol de Janeiro spray can cost almost $40 at Sephora.
But at Dollar Tree, a similar off-brand alternative cost about $1.25.
Dollar Tree’s business hasn’t kept the chain out of trouble recently.
This spring, the company’s CEO said it would close about 1,000 stores.
The chain is moving into some of its former competitors’ stores, however.
