She made $750 in one month and was able to help others in the process by donating plasma.

On a TikTok video since last November, a businessman (@shfosbcjavf) shared how she made $750 in one month from her plasma work.

“Donating Plasma is a great way to earn some extra money and save lives at the same time!!” Armoni captioned the video.

She explained that she dropped out of college two years ago and, since then, has earned her income exclusively from side activities.

Armoni recalled that he has been donating plasma for two years and that it was a great way to help other people.

“The plasma you donate will go towards treatments that help people with rare diseases,” she explained.

Armoni shared that you can donate plasma up to twice a week.

What is plasma?

Plasma is a light-colored liquid that makes up about 55% of blood.

Contains water, proteins, salts, enzymes, antibodies and other components.

Plasma plays several important roles in the body, including:

• Maintain blood pressure and volume
• Maintain pH balance
• Transport of nutrients, hormones and proteins
• Removing waste from cells
• Transporting blood cells through the circulatory system

The process of donating plasma is called plasmapheresis, during which the plasma is separated from the other components of the blood.

Donated plasma can be used to help others create antibodies, heal burns, protect pregnancies and help babies’ hearts beat.

She also noted that you can earn up to $800 in your first month.

STEPS TO DONATE

Another TikToker (@soulmaitee) shared a video about the steps she took to earn $850 by donating plasma.

Mai suggested that those interested in participating first make an appointment at the nearest donation center in BioLife website.

She also advised bringing a sweater, hydrating yourself and eating a full meal at least two hours before going to the center.

Mai noted that the first consultation would take longer, around three hours, because it is necessary to do a physical examination and also a finger prick to test the donor’s iron and protein levels.

Applicants must also pass a health questionnaire.

She noted that once donors meet these requirements, they will be able to donate blood.

Mai explained how, as the blood is collected, the red blood cells are returned to the donor while the plasma is extracted.

Once this is done, a rehydrating solution will be administered.

The donor will then receive a card loaded with their payment.

Mai shared that the first time a donor donates plasma, they will receive $90.

She said the payment amount increases the more you donate plasma until you receive $800.
