A businessman has told how he makes thousands of dollars every month using a computer, working only at night.
The side hustle of simple transcription only takes 10 to 30 hours of work per week and can be done remotely.

Arianna Anglin (@thebizmomari) shares tips on how to make money online with her nearly 500,000 followers on TikTok.
On a video Starting in February, Anglin explained how to profit by taking on transcription as a side hustle.
Transcription writing is the process of converting spoken words from an audio or video recording into written text.
She noted that remote work can be done at night and can pay more than $3,000 a month.

Anglin suggested using the Daily Transcript Website and selecting “Become a Freelancer” at the bottom of the home page.
One of the job openings on the website is for the General Transcription role.
“We are looking for native English-speaking transcriptionists who have excellent listening and typing skills to develop accurate text from audio or video files,” the job description says.
“The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, delivering high-quality transcripts in a timely manner.”
Anglin highlighted that Daily Transcription was hiring and looking for freelancers to work 10 to 30 hours a week.
Side hustling pays $45 to $66 per hour for material.
She estimated the profit potential of transcription, calculating $825 per week for working 15 hours a week at $55 per hour.
Anglin noted that transcribing at that rate would bring in $3,300 per month.
Other positions such as AI Editor, Medical Transcriber, and Subtitler and Subtitler are also available on the site and have the potential to generate even more profit.
HESITANCY
TikTok users have pointed out some concerns about the side hustle, including the need to pay for a transcription course.
How to Become an Online Transcriber
The Daily Transcription website lists several skills relevant to the General Transcription role:
- Enter at least 50 WPM
- Strong listening and typing skills
- Attention to the details
- Ability to work independently
- Time management
- Proficient in using transcription software
- Ability to enter time codes
- Ability to review your own work
- Ability to follow guidelines and formats
- Ability to receive constructive criticism from the QA team and ability to make changes in the requested time
Others, however, shared that a course was only necessary if you were new to transcription.
“If you have experience, you can skip the course,” said one user.
Another commenter questioned the pay rate.
“It’s media time. It takes about four hours to transcribe an hour of media,” they said.
