PARIS– Paris capped off an extraordinary two and a half weeks of Olympic sport and excitement with a star-studded show at France’s national stadium and in Long Beach in Southern California. The French capital has transferred hosting duties for the Summer Olympic Games to the next city in line: Los Angeles in 2028.
Snoop Dogg, who brought his star appeal to the Paris Olympics with multiple appearances on NBC, maintained his momentum on a pre-recorded show in his native California. After performing “Drop It Like Its Hot,” the rapper brought out Dr. Dre as they performed his classic “The Next Episode” in Long Beach, California.
Billie Eilish performed “Birds of a Feather” from her third studio album “Hit Me Hard and Soft”. Red Hot Chili Peppers performed the 2003 jam “Can’t Stop”.
Like his many stunts in “Mission: Impossible,” Tom Cruise fell from the top of the Stade de France while HER played the guitar. He rode his motorcycle through the crowd while HER played the guitar. In a pre-recorded sequence, he passed through Paris before getting on a plane and parachuting onto a farm.
With a guitar in hand, HER sang the US national anthem while Simone Biles and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass stood behind her. She played on her customized Stratocaster during the transfer from Paris to Los Angeles.

2. The French band Phoenix is performing so electrifyingly that some athletes were unable to leave the stage. Security attempted to corral the Olympic athletes off the stage. The Grammy-winning band performed “Lisztomania” and “If I Ever Feel Better.” Ezra Koenig performed the song “Tonight”.
