AAs any true Bravo fan knows, first impressions can be deceiving. To take The valley, for example. What initially appeared to be a desperate attempt to capitalize on the popularity of a post-Scandoval society Vanderpump Rules It ended up turning into one of the biggest reality TV first seasons of all time.

The valley-which debuted in March as a PRV spinoff that reunited three of its parent show’s most infamous alumni — it has it all: disgraced Bravolebrities making comebacks, disintegrating marriages, and dysfunctional cast trips. By now, Janet’s baby has already born (hi Cameron!), and Brittany and Jax and Michelle and Jesse broke up. It seems that neither Lala Kent nor Scheana Shay will take on a permanent role next season, and Mamaw’s beer cheese is officially on the menu at Jax’s Studio City. But there are still a number of lingering questions after the finale.

Why isn’t there a meeting?

Not every new Bravo show has a reunion for its first season (see: Summer house, Southern Hospitality), and since the finale featured footage from months after the season officially ended, it makes sense that the producers didn’t drag the cast back for a reunion. Assuming production on Season 2 begins soon, there may not have been time for a reunion in between filming, especially with the bonus footage giving viewers an update on most of the plot’s biggest impact points.

What is the status of Jax and Brittany’s marriage? What about Michelle and Jesse?

Both couples called it quits, but neither officially filed for divorce yet. Michelle broke up with Jesse three days after the show ended and moved out of their West Hollywood home. Have no fear, she can still stop by the Chateau Marmont; her rental is just two blocks away. The two are in the process of splitting their real estate businesses, but appear to be successfully co-parenting their daughter, Isabella.

Brittany also moved out of her and Jax’s shared home, taking Cruz and herself to an Airbnb property. The couple is currently separated, with no firm plans for divorce on the horizon. The timeline surrounding their split is murky. Brittany has moved from rental to rental since she announced their separation in February, and Jax lied to the press about their living arrangements. The two attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, although not together.

Did Nia have to move to Santa Clarita?

Poor Nia spent the season battling postpartum depression while caring for her newborn twins, her toddler son, and a fourth big baby: her husband, Danny. Now, along with an extended nap, the couple needs a bigger house. Of course, they would get more for their money if they were willing to move further away from Los Angeles. But for Nia, Santa Clarita was simply a bridge (or a freeway exit) too far, and she worried that Danny, who was open to living in the most suburban of suburbs, would force her to move there anyway. The conflict remains unresolved at the end of the season – but for what it’s worth, Nia is right and perfect and deserves everything she wants.

Will Jasmine ever have her own storyline?

If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that Jasmine Goode looks great. But the BachelorNation alum and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader became a protégé of real estate professional Michelle, who also served time as a server at the Vanderpump Rules hub SUR, had almost nothing to do in the show’s first season. We’ve seen her play confidant to several miserable married people and gotten occasional glimpses of her girlfriend, Melissa Marie. However, in the end, Jasmine still hadn’t become a real participant in the main group’s drama. Here is hope The valley gives her something more substantial to do in Season 2.

Who was the famous director Michelle was dating?

As rumors swirled throughout the season that Michelle was – or at some point was – cheating on Jesse, one name that came up in the conversation was that of an A-list director with whom Michelle was apparently fraternizing at none other than the Chateau Marmont. . Unfortunately for all of Bravo’s most nosy fans, the director’s name was bleeped every time it was mentioned.

But do not worry. Although the case has not yet been fully solved, there are a number of theories circulating online for those who want to look into them.

Has Danny gotten any more voiceover work since the show aired?

In the show’s premiere, when we are introduced to Danny Booko, half of the The valley’Although he is the seemingly more functional (read: boring) couple, he is making an honest living to support his wife Nia and their three children by working as a voice actor, including creating zombie noises for a Living Dead spin off. We’ve since learned that Danny has an alter ego (“Darkside Danny”) that breaks free when he has a few drinks and that he’s a little worried about the family’s finances. Luckily, it looks like he’s booked more voice acting work this year; according to IMDBhe is the voice actor for the first part of Kevin Costner’s western epic, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1and will appear as a looper (someone who makes background noise) in the next Transformers One film.

Who is Kristen still friends with in the cast?

While the 1st season of The valley I saw Janet, Michelle and Jesse not so wisely try to steer Kristen away from group activities (put some respect on the Doute reality show queen’s name!), Janet recently said The daily dish that the breakup of friendship is more of a “break”.

“I don’t think, you know, that this is the end of our friendship,” she said. “Never say Never.”

A Instagram post from May 24th it also showed Kristen hanging out with Zach, Brittany and Nia at Jax’s Studio City. Michelle and Jesse, on the other hand, apparently haven’t spoken to Kristen since filming ended. “We don’t talk,” said Jesse Us weekly in May. “[Her boyfriend] Luke and I are cordial – mostly talking about things related to the show. But yeah, I mean, it’s sad. You hate losing friends.

How is Jax’s bar doing financially?

When he wasn’t emotionally terrorizing Brittany and being the most unhinged threat in Los Angeles, Jax apparently spent most of his time The valley trying to get Jax’s Studio City off the ground, the sports bar that bears his name, but in which he has no financial investment. Now that the bar is open, according to Jax, an extremely unreliable narrator, it is apparently doing “really, really well.” In an interview with The daily dish, Jax said things were so good that he plans to open two more restaurants, going so far as to say, “I could be the next Lisa Vanderpump.” Given Jax’s difficult relationship with revealing the truth, we’re taking this news with more grains of salt than the rim of a SUR jalapeño margarita.

Will Mamaw’s beer cheese remain on the menu at Jax’s Studio City or will Brittany get it in the divorce?

Mamaw’s beer cheese, the hero menu item at Jax’s Studio City, is so central to Jax and Brittany’s relationship that the so-called Kentucky delicacy got its own Bud Light-fueled storyline and tasting party on Season 7 of Vanderpump Rules. As beer cheese is famously inspired by a recipe from Brittany’s mamaw, the logical answer to this question is that Brittany will obviously retain custody of beer cheese and its intellectual property – but as any true student of PRV universe knows, Jax Taylor defies all logic. We’re looking forward to watching the beer cheese custody showdown in a multi-episode arc in Season 2 of The valley.

Lala and Scheana go to the OK?

Although Lala and Scheana appear in The valley debut – and Lala making a seemingly obvious attempt to stir up drama with Brittany in Vanderpump Season 11 Reunion – Bravo has made it clear that there will be no full-time transfers between the two shows. For now, at least.

“[The Valley] the cast is pretty full right now,” showrunner Alex Baskin told Hollywood news reporter in May. “I imagine you’ll continue to see crossovers like you have, but this cast is exploding. It’s not like we need additional cast members. Between Jax and Brittany, Jesse and Michelle, and a bunch of other developments, we really have a big focus for this show and we’re excited to jump back in because, God knows, if we had cameras up now, there would be a ton to cover. And there will be when we do.

Will there be a second season?

Yes. Bravo renewed The valley for a second season, and the entire cast is expected to return despite impending divorces.
