EASTLAKE, Ohio – Travis Kelce’s power goes beyond the football field or dating one of the most famous women in the world.

The talented tight end from Kansas City, who is also the boyfriend of pop star Taylor Swift, showed off his hitting skills Saturday by winning a home run contest at a charity softball event hosted by Browns tight end David Njoku.

Kelce, who grew up in Cleveland, arrived at Classic Park, home of the Lake County minor league captains, just as the event was beginning. Upon entering the field, Kelce shook hands with a few fans before warmly greeting Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Once in the batter’s box, Kelce, who played baseball in high school, put on an impressive performance. After hitting his final hit and sending another ball over the fence to secure the victory, Kelce turned his bat around in celebration and took a victory lap around the bases.

He was awarded a trophy that he could show Swift, who is performing in Scotland this weekend.

A three-time Super Bowl champion, Kelce became close in recent years with Njoku, who attended his offseason at Tight End University.

“That’s my guy, man,” Njoku said. “He’s one of the purest human beings I’ve met in my life, honestly. It always means good. Overall, great guy.

Kelce has always supported the Cleveland baseball team and last year threw an ill-fated ceremonial first pitch that he caught like a football.

Kelce remained busy throughout the offseason. He recently participated in organized Chiefs team activities and visited the White House when the Super Bowl champions were welcomed by President Joe Biden.
