Harris makes pre-recorded appearance on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ to encourage Americans to vote

WASHINGTON – vice president Kamala Harris dropped on the season finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” urging Americans to vote in an appearance that was taped in front of the president Joe Biden withdrew his candidacy for re-election.

The episode ends the ninth season of the series and will be broadcast on Friday Paramount+. It opens with an announcer saying that the schedule is being interrupted for an “extra special ‘Drag Race’ viewing party.”

The scene cuts to the Democratic vice president smiling broadly and saying to the camera, “Hello everyone. It’s Kamala Harris. Every day, we see our rights and freedoms under attack, including everyone’s right to be who they are, love who they love – openly and proudly.”

Dressed in a purple suit that beautifully complements the hot pink couch she sits on with the actor. Cheyenne Jackson and surrounded by other celebrities and stars of the show, Harris continues, “So as we fight these attacks, no one is alone.”

“We are all in this together and your vote is your power, so make sure your voice is heard this November and register to vote”, concludes the vice president.

This leads Jackson to proclaim, “Can I get an amen?” and Harris and others joyfully shout, “Amen!” The vice president, like many on set, raises her hands in a gesture of praise before adding, “Now let’s get to the show.”

Harris and others then clap to RuPaul’s song “A Little Bit of Love,” while some of the assembled posters promote the site. vote.gov. Harris laughs as a sign is mistakenly placed upside down. RuPaulprogram presenter, does not appear in the clip.

Harris, a former US senator from California, is not the first Democratic politician to appear on the program, which is based in Los Angeles. New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was a guest judge in 2020.

Biden announced that he was leaving the presidential race and endorsing Harris last weekend. Since then, the vice president intensified its campaign and travel schedule.
