BLAKE Lively stepped out in a couture look previously worn by Britney Spears and paid tribute to the star online.
The Gossip Girl star posed in the iconic outfit at the premiere of It Ends With Us.

Photos from the event began circulating online, with fans placing photos of Blake, 36, in the dress alongside photos of Britney, 42, wearing it in 2002.
The actress, who is married to Ryan Reynolds, posted a photo of the Circus singer to her Instagram Story, along with some kind words for the star.
“Today’s weather,” she began.
“The ultimate queen who made us all want to shine, write and share our stories.”
Blake continued: “Britney, all of us millennials have a story of a moment, or years, when you made us want to shine and inspire awe, with strength and joy and immensely hard work.
“Thank you for your example and your contribution to the women who tell their stories. I’m so excited for your Bipoc and everything you have coming.”

Blake was asked about Britney on the red carpet at the event, and fans shared a video of her answering the question on social media.
“Britney Spears has meant so much to me forever. I’m a Britney stan forever,” she told a reporter in the clip.
In addition to being excited about the look, some fans on X, formerly Twitter, asked that Blake be cast as Britney in her next biopic.

In September 2021, by Britney case was returned to a Los Angeles court where Judge Brenda Penny made a series of bombshell decisions, following her father’s decision to end the conservatorship the previous month.
She decided to free Jamie from her daughter’s guardianship, however, this did not mean the complete end of the guardianship.

On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in the pop star’s favor, removing Jamie as conservator without requiring any additional mental examination of Britney.
