Selena Gomez fans say she’s ‘definitely engaged’ to Benny Blanco after spotting huge ‘clue’ in new hotel room selfie

SELENA Gomez has sparked rumors she is engaged to boyfriend Benny Blanco.

The Lose You To Love Me singer, 32, took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to post a photograph that fans believe is confirmation that she and Benny, 32, are taking their relationship to the next stage.

Selena shared a mirror selfie in which she can be seen wearing a dreamy, off-the-shoulder dress.

However, it’s the strategic placement of a heart emoji that convinced fans that Selena is engaged.

The Only Murders in the Building star covered her ring finger in pink hearts, hiding what her followers believe to be an engagement ring.

Benny can be seen in the background of the photo which Selena simply captioned: “A night out.”

Fan speculation about X began soon after, with several of Selena’s followers congratulating the stars on their supposed engagement.

“I think Selena Gomez just got engaged because why is she covering her left hand in her latest IG story?” one person wrote.

Another fan said: “She’s probably engaged [sic] ring”

This is not the first time engagement rumors have surfaced around Selena and Benny, who confirmed their relationship in December 2023.

Over the weekend, pop culture Instagram account Deuxmoi revealed that a source claimed an “A-list actress and semi-retired singer” had gotten engaged.

The post shared on a Reddit forum read: “This A-list actress/semi-retired got engaged over the weekend to her boyfriend of a year.

[They were] surrounded by friends at their usual hangout on the beach.”

Fans of the couple quickly assumed the source was talking about Selena and Benny, with several people reacting to the news in the forum chat.

“I hope this is true!” one user wrote. “They look great together.”

Another person noted that Selena “seems really happy” and Benny seems “to be on the same page” as her.

Rumors about Selena and Benny’s romance began swirling in November last year, before she confirmed they were together in an Instagram post the following month.

Writing on Instagram, she confessed: “He is absolutely everything in my heart. He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with.

‘SO IN LOVE’

Since the beginning of their social media relationship, Selena and Benny have made several PDA-filled appearances at events, including at the 2024 Golden Globes.

Earlier this year, Dana Covarrubias, costume designer for the Hulu show Only Murders in the Building, told The US Sun that Selena and Benny are “so in love.”

Asked if she thought an engagement was on the horizon, Dana responded, “I don’t know. I don’t know. I hope so. I hope so. They seem so happy and in love, so fingers crossed,” she said. .

The show’s co-creator John Hoffman has previously praised their relationship, explaining that “it’s a great spirit that exists between them.”

Speaking to The US Sun, John also revealed that Selena’s OMITB co-stars Steve Martina, 78, and Martin Short, 74, also like the songwriter.

Benny recently told WSJ magazine that he is “in love” with Selena, adding, “I was the last to know.”

“It’s crazy how your partner can be sitting there the whole time, right in front of your eyes, and you don’t even notice, and then you have that clueless moment where you’re like, ‘Wait, I’m in love.’ “
