KANYE West addressed the anti-Semitic tweet he posted in 2022.
On Wednesday, a clip from the rap star’s 2022 interview with Candace Owens was released online.
At the time of the interview, Kanye, 46, spoke with political commentator from his podcast Candace.
In the video, rapper Donda revealed why he sent the offensive post.
The deleted message said: “death with 3 in JEWISH PEOPLE”.
According to The Hollywood ReporterKanye’s entire tweet read: “I’m a little sleepy tonight, but when I wake up, I’m going to die with 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.
“The funny thing is, I can’t actually be anti-Semitic because black people are actually Jews.
“You played with me and tried to eliminate anyone who opposed your agenda.”
Due to this, Ye was kicked out of X and Instagram and lost a lot of business.
Some brands include Balenciaga, Gap and Adidas.
‘I WAS DRINKING’
On the podcast, Candace sat in chairs across from Kanye.
In the clipCandace kept her eyes on the rapper while he had his phone.
He said: “I was drinking when I posted the DEFCON tweet.
“Do you want to know what alcohol I had inside me? Hennessy. It turns us gray. The demons [come out].
Candace asked him why didn’t he introduce himself and explain that he was supposedly drunk.
Kanye West’s houses
Kanye West owns several homes in California and Wyoming, two of which are in disrepair.
The father of four revealed that he did not want to be “discredited” and that the comments were his “truth”.
‘TOO LATE’
On X, fans shared their honest opinions about Kanye’s reasoning behind his tweet.
“It’s too late to apologize for this behavior,” one wrote.
Another said: “[He needs to] take responsibility!”
Kanye has since been allowed back on Instagram, where his latest publish discussed his album Vultures II with rapper Ty Dolla $ign.
In February, he dropped Vultures I after pushing the release date back several times.
Following the release, Kanye held listening parties in the US, where he was joined by his wife, Bianca Censori, 29.
