REAL Housewives of Miami star Guerdy Abraira called herself ‘au natural’ after surgery for breast cancer.
The reality TV star clutched her breast implants in her hands and explained why she had to remove them.
Guerdy, 46, shared a video on Instagram from his hospital bed on Sunday.
She said she was “doing well” on the third day of her breast reconstructive surgery.
“I’ve had my breast implants for 10 years and never had any problems with them until I started getting treatments for cancer,” Guerdy said.
“The radiation ended up shrinking my left breast to the point where I started to feel some pain and mobility problems in my left arm.”
Guerdy said he decided to take them down and is trying to fill them in with graphics as best he can.
“It will be a step-by-step process. I’m happy with my decision now,” she said.
“What’s best for me right now is to act natural, darling.”
At the end of the video, Guerdy lifted her breast implants as her chest was wrapped after surgery.
GUERDY DIAGNOSIS
Guerdy was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2023.
She shared the news in a statement on Instagram.
“In March, I discovered some news about my health. I was in St. Barts having a great time when my doctor called me with the results after a regular mammogram exam.
I have breast cancer,” Guerdy said. he wrote.
“It took me a while to process everything which is why I took a break from social media last month, as many have noticed.
Many of you have reached out to me and I am grateful for your kind gestures.”
“This process is definitely intense and what I ask of you is empowerment, not pity,” the Real Housewives star said.

“I’m lucky that this breast cancer was caught at an early stage – it’s still scary, of course, but I have the love and support of those around me and that alone is the fuel I need.”
Over the course of six months, her treatment included a mastectomy, chemotherapy, steroids and 15 rounds of radiation.
KEEPING IT REAL
Guerdy stars in RHOM with Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Dr. Nicole Martin, Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Marysol Patton, Adriana de Moura and Kiki Barth.
The show took an eight-year hiatus but returned in December 2021.
RHOM ran on Bravo but was canceled in 2013 after just three seasons.
In 2016, executive producer Andy Cohen said the film was definitively finished.
Guerdy has been married to her high school sweetheart, Russell Abraira, for 21 years.
Together they have two sons – Miles and Liam.
In an exclusive interview with The US Sun, Guerdy said that telling her children she had cancer was “the hardest thing she ever had to do.”
“I had to confirm and acknowledge the truth that I had cancer first. It was such a quick whirlwind of information coming at me that I was so emotional,” she said.
“At first, I wasn’t emotionally prepared to be strong enough for my boys. Everyone has their own way of doing this.
“So it was about telling them that mom wasn’t okay and hopefully she would be okay,” Guerdy continued.
“It was the most challenging thing I had to go through.”
