KATY Perry received a lot of love from fans after she admitted to being annoying on the set of American Idol.

On Sunday, Katy, 39, shared a behind-the-scenes video from the reality show on Instagram.

In the clipshe sat behind the judge’s table while the show was on break.

Their song California Girls was playing over the sound system and the audience could be heard singing along.

The person filming the video asked Katy if she knew the song that was playing.

She casually looked to the side and brushed her hair away from her ear to listen carefully.

Then, the American Idol judge looked confused as she continued to listen to the song before shaking her head ‘no’ to the beat of the song.

She then leaned into the camera and joked: “It’s that really annoying girl, right?”

Katy wore a bright blue strapless dress and accessorized with long silver earrings that framed her face.

In the comments section of the post, her fans were obsessed with the star’s joke.

One of them said: “I love how your mouth moved and wanted to sing.”

“She’s an actress, give her a golden globe now,” added another.

At the beginning of the April 14 episode, where the Top 20 was announced, show host Ryan Seacrest, 49, introduced the judges.

Everyone came on stage and then Luke and Katy started dancing and dancing with each other.

Their dance moves mimicked the movements of a car wash, which made sense when the judges started talking.

Ryan mentioned that Luke’s pants have gotten tighter all season.

On the other hand, Lionel’s pants are getting baggier.

Then Katy added, “And Luke said I look like the inside of a car wash,” which made Luke laugh out loud.

Katy thought it was so funny that she posted a photo about Xformerly known as Twitter, where she was Photoshopped into a car wash.
