KATY Perry surprised us with a new video shot on the set of American Idol, but fans can’t stop talking about what she was carrying in her bag.
On Tuesday, the Wide Awake singer posted the outfit reveal video to her Instagram account.

In the video, Katy, 39, was shown singing Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter as she approached the American Idol set in a movie studio.
The Teenage Dream singer sported a casual look that consisted of a white button-down shirt over a matching white blouse paired with jeans.
She completed her workday outfit with black sunglasses and a pair of black flats, while wearing her hair in an unassuming bun.
Katy carried an iced coffee in one hand and held her purse and doggy bag — which held her micro teacup poodle Nugget — with the other.
She briefly posed in front of an American Idol billboard before the video transitioned and captured Katy exiting her trailer wearing a breathtaking brown dress.
The dress featured a leather corset that perfectly matched her elbow-length leather gloves.
The bottom part, although in the same color, was made from a lighter fabric and was designed with a high slit to show off the singer’s legs.
Even though Nugget was nowhere to be found, Katy still had a coffee in her hands as she walked down the stairs and showed off her side-swept hairstyle.
The Idol judge captioned the post: “I’m a singerrrr (and a mother, and a judge, and a…) #ESPRESSO @sabrinacarpenter #idol.”
In the comments section of the post, one fan wrote: “OMG! Now I noticed Nugget in your bag!”
“The puppy in her bag,” commented a second.
A third person exclaimed: “NUGGET HAHAHAHA.”
A fourth fan referenced Katy’s outfit change as they wrote: “From Audrey Hepburn to Jessica Rabbit.”
“She does everything,” added another.
FAN APPRECIATION
Katy received a lot of love from fans after she admitted to being annoying on the set of American Idol.
On Sunday, Katy shared a behind-the-scenes video from the singing competition on Instagram.
In the clipshe sat behind the judge’s table while the show was on break.
Their song California Girls was playing over the sound system and the audience could be heard singing along.

The person filming the video asked Katy if she knew the song that was playing, prompting the Billboard Music Award winner to brush her hair away from her ears to listen carefully.
The American Idol judge looked confused as she continued to listen to the song before shaking her head ‘no’ to the beat of the song.
She then leaned into the camera and joked: “It’s that really annoying girl, right?”
Fans of the singer were obsessed with Katy’s joke in the comments section of the post.
One person said: “I love how your mouth moved and wanted to sing.”
“She’s an actress, give her a golden globe now,” added another fan.
A third commenter added, “She’s so funny for this,” with a crying emoji.
GETTING PHYSICAL
Katy is on the judging panel with Luke Bryan, 47, and Lionel Richie, 74.
She took a swipe at Luke after he praised a contestant’s rendition of one of the pop star’s biggest hits.
On Monday night, two contestants said goodbye to Idol as America voted for their favorites to make it into the Top 10.
This season’s contestants chose a #1 Billboard hit to perform and Roman Collins decided to sing Katy’s song Roar.

Roman is a 24-year-old worship leader from Long Beach, California.
During his time with the night’s musical mentor, Megan Trainor, Roman revealed that he chose pop music because of the message.
“Words are vital,” he explained in a confessional, “I’m slowing down and playing alone.”
Back in the room with Megan, he continued, “This song is really important to me. [We’re] not paying attention to the drums or the rhythm, just the words because they are enough.”
When it came time to perform, he started by playing the piano and singing the hit in his own way.
Minutes later, he projected his voice to fill the room and walked across the stage, surprising viewers at home, the audience and judges Katy, Luke and Lionel.
JUDGES’ REACTIONS
When he finished, he received a standing ovation from the judges and even got a hug from the Roar singer.
“This was a Katy Perry song so full of church and soul and power. Her roar was incredible,” said Lionel.
Katy revealed that her parents are big fans of Roman: “They message me about you and say ‘Roman! Yes! Praise be to Jesus!’
“So, my parents who have prayed for me my entire life and I would credit them with much of my success, they are praying for you too! That was amazing,” she said.
Katy also teased her possible return to the song: “I hope you don’t mind if I try this version on the next tour.”
Luke jokingly responded, “Good luck,” which resulted in Katy pretending to hit Luke as he dodged the slap.
