JUSTIFIED: City Primeval actor Walton Goggins has opened up about his feud with his co-star Timothy Olyphant.
Earlier this month, Walton, 52, sat down for an interview where he got candid about his experiences on the FX scripted miniseries.
The Hollywood actor revealed The Independent that when the eight-episode show finished filming, he and Timothy, 55, “weren’t talking.”
“We had a difficult time at the end of Justified,” he admitted.
“We were so deeply invested in these people we were playing, and they were total opposites at this point in the story.
“I think we were both obsessed with our own views, just carrying the weight of this conflict.”
The Western-themed miniseries premiered in January 2023, with Walton and Timothy reprising their roles.
Walton returned to play Deputy Raylan Givens and Timothy played Boyd Crowder.
The crime series also features Timothy’s daughter Vivian, as well as Adelaide Clemens from Silent Hill: Revelation, Boyd Holbrook from Narcos, and Marin Ireland from Sneaky Pete.
‘I RESPECT AND LOVE HIM’
Walton then hinted that things were good between the two and that they just “needed to part ways as brothers.”
“I respect and love him very much, and I feel very respected and loved by him. We just needed to take a break to get back together,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Timothy confirmed that he and Walton were still friends.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, he said: “I’ve always loved this guy and I love working with him, and he’s special.
“I would work with him again in a heartbeat.”
The original Justified series along with the spin-off are available to stream on Hulu.
On March 20, the two stars spent some time together and posed for a selfie while they were both in Thailand working on upcoming projects.
Walton shared photos of the two actors smiling and hugging on his Instagram account.
“Look at this beautiful surprise in Thailand… today I met Raylan Givens for lunch. Talk about the comforts of home… Exactly what I needed.
