Sam signed a prenup with Britney, meaning he was left with nothing after the divorce.

However, reports say that Britney has been paying Sam’s rent after she left their shared home in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

The outlet also reported that Sam asked Britney to write him a six-figure check following their divorce.

Sam previously alleged that Britney cheated on him with a staff member, which was reportedly captured on video.

He also alleged that she physically assaulted him during their time together, allegedly hitting him in bed.

Britney’s memoir, The Woman In Me, was released on October 24, but did not mention Sam.

At the time of the split, rumors swirled that Sam might contest the prenup, but that didn’t appear to happen.

In August, he requested child support and legal fees and it is believed he is hoping Britney will give him a payment so it all goes away quietly.

There was a possibility the division could go nuclear if she refused his demands, with those close to him claiming he might reveal “extraordinarily embarrassing” secrets about her.

The famous hitmaker hired divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.

“Britney has been bullied by men her entire life,” a source close to Britney revealed.

“She won’t let that happen again.

“There has been one heartbreak after another in her life, but this time she will not be taken advantage of.”

“She will fight for what is rightfully hers, if that is the case,” the source concluded.

TURBULENT TIMES

Another source close to the estranged couple commented that “Britney and Sam’s relationship has been a rollercoaster since the beginning.”

“Even on their wedding night – obviously, they were supposed to spend the night together – but instead, Britney went to the Four Seasons in Westlake Village and spent the night with her best friend and gay manager, Cade Hudson, instead of Sam. ”

Westlake Village is the exclusive suburb of Los Angeles, California where Britney lives.

“This immediately started the marriage on a problematic note,” the source added.

“The relationship turned into a ticking time bomb.

“Britney has been telling people she wanted another child and to start a family with Sam.”

The pop star shares two boys, Jayden, 16, and Sean, 17, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, 45.

Kevin and Britney split in 2007.

RELATIONSHIP HISTORY

Britney and Sam first got together in 2016 when he appeared in Britney’s Slumber Party music video.

The couple got engaged in September 2021 and married the following June.

The wedding was private, with around 60 star-studded guests, including Madonna, Drew Barrymore and Paris Hilton.

Britney frequently posted photos showing PDA with her boyfriend on her social media, and Sam even abandoned her Las Vegas show in 2019 when Britney’s father fell ill with a ruptured colon and Britney was admitted to a mental health facility.

The star’s marriage was also tumultuous, with Britney involved in several legal proceedings with her family.

Britney Spears Conservatorship Timeline

In September 2021, by Britney case was returned to a Los Angeles court where Judge Brenda Penny made a series of bombshell decisions, following her father’s decision to end the conservatorship the previous month.

She decided to free Jamie from her daughter’s guardianship, however, this did not mean the complete end of the guardianship.

Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: “Based on what I have read in the record and I have read everything. I believe that Jamie Spears’ suspension is in Britney Spears’ best interest.

“The current situation is unattainable. The court finds that the toxic environment Jamie Spears created needs to be removed today.”

After the judge’s ruling, a temporary conservator was placed in Jamie’s place for about a month.

In early November 2021, Jamie returned to court presenting new legal documents that show he has stopped fighting.

Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for his resignation, but documents at the time showed he was not seeking any additional compensation.

On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in the pop star’s favor, removing Jamie as conservator without requiring any additional mental examination of Britney.

From 2008 to 2021, Britney was under strict guardianship of her father because of her public meltdowns in the late 2000s.

When her conservatorship ended in 2021, Britney and her sister Jamie still had some differences.

Jamie was seeking compensation of over $2 million for hiring legal help during the conservatorship, as well as his current attorney bills.

In the end, Britney had to pay her father more than $2 million, according to TMZand reported that the Toxic hitmaker was “furious.”
