Who is Drake’s son Adonis?

Adonis Graham was born on October 11, 2017, making him six years old.

His middle name is ‘Mahbed’, which some fans speculate is a reference to Drake’s hit God’s Plan, as his name sounds like the lyrics: “I only love my bed and my mother.”

Drake shielded Adonis from the media until he posted a series of photos to his Instagram account on March 30, 2020.

The photo set included photos of Adonis and Drake’s parents.

Adonis appeared at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards alongside his father, who won Artist of the Decade.

In February 2023, Adonis made an appearance on interview with his father with sports stool. The 11-minute clip begins with Adonis drinking from a juice box and answering questions from host Caleb Pressley.

Adonis lives with his mother, Sophie Brussaux, in Paris, France, although Drake lives in Toronto, Canada.

The 37-year-old rapper also owns property in California and splits his time between the two.

It is assumed that Drake visits from time to time on his private jet.

Who is his mother, Sophie Brussaux?

Brussaux is an award-winning artist with exhibitions in cities such as New York, Milan and London.

It was reported that Sophie met Drake in January 2017 and Sophie became pregnant with his child almost immediately after.

In January 2017, Sophie was spotted having dinner with the Canadian star during a trip to Amsterdam.

Then in May 2017, she said TMZ that she was receiving messages from Drake asking her to have an abortion after telling him she was pregnant.

At the time, Drake’s rep said, “If it is, in fact, Drake’s son, which he doesn’t believe, he would do the right thing by the child.”

However, it wasn’t until June 2018 that Drake finally admitted he was the father of Sophie’s child.

Sophie shared a video in May 2020 of Adonis saying “dada” and speaking French.

What songs does Drake reference Adonis?

Pusha T revealed Drake’s secret son in his 2018 diss track The Story Of Adidon.

Drake remained silent about the allegations until he released his 2018 album, Scorpion, where he told the entire world all about his son.

March 14th is the moment Drake received the news that Adonis was his son.

He sings about the history of his relationship with Brussaux, hoping they can be good co-parents.

In another song on the album, Emotionless, Drake sings: “I wasn’t hiding my son from the world / I was hiding the world from my son.”

This is why Adonis was kept out of the spotlight for so long.

Since Drake’s beef with Kendrick Lamar escalated in 2024, the two rappers have traded diss tracks against each other.

In the six-minute song Euphoria, Kendrick references Adonis and accuses Drake of not raising his son.

“I got a son to raise, but I can see you don’t know shit about it,” Kendrick sings on the track.
