Around two minutes into the song, Kendrick, 36, sang, “Money conspiracies, man, that’s not even the leak / Find the jewelry like Kash doll, I just need you to think.”

In Push Ups, Drake’s critique of Kendrick, Future, Rick Ross and several other celebrities, the First Person Shooter rapper suggested that The Weeknd’s manager Amir Esmailian, aka Cash or Cash XO, was spending much of his money from the Blinding Lights singer.

Kendrick turned his attention away from Cash XO and focused on For Everybody rapper Kash Doll – whose ex-boyfriend broke up with her over a photo she took with Drake.

“Jewel” Kash Doll was also the victim of a robbery that resulted in $500,000 worth of jewelry being stolen from her home.

Kendrick continued: “Are you finally ready to play ‘Have You Done This Yet?’ let’s see/Have you ever thought that OVO is working for me?”

The bar seemed to insinuate that Drake has a spy in his entourage who is secretly working for the Swimming Pools rapper.

After the song was released, Kash Doll seemed unfazed by the mention and responded to the lyrics by writing on X, formerly Twitter: “I know, I just know my song came out at midnight, thanks everyone, stream my shit also!”

She then tweeted: “I’m trying to understand the lyrics lol where are the lyrical geniuses…”

STYLED TO PERFECTION

Drake took a snide dig at Kendrick in response to his recently released diss track.

On Tuesday, rapper Humble released his six-minute track Euphoria, which took a direct hit at Drake, 37.

The One Dance singer appeared to applaud Kendrick by uploading a short video clip on his Instagram Story.

The video showed Julia Stiles in the movie 10 Things I Hate About You as she listed things she hated about someone from a book.

“I hate the way you talk to me and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car, I hate it when you stare at me”, Julia listed.

Drake superimposed a winking face and a broken heart emoji over the video.

Fans thought this was a snide dig at Kendrick, as Julia’s dialogue seemed to mimic Kendrick’s lyrics in his diss track.

One Drake fan uploaded his X Story to make the comparison, writing, “Drake’s latest Instagram Story references these ‘Euphoria’ lyrics.”

‘I’m the biggest hater / I hate the way you walk, the way you talk, I hate the way you dress / I hate the way you talk bad, if I take a flight, it’ll be straight. “

Account X added a side-eye emoji as fans shared their thoughts on the fun and disingenuous response in the comments thread.

DRAKE AND KENDRICK FEUD TIMELINE

On October 6, 2023, Drake and J. Cole released First Person Shooter, in which J. Cole stated that himself, Drake and Kendrick are the “big three” of hip-hop.

On March 22, 2024, Kendrick responded to the claim of a “big three” in his verse on the song Like That by Metro Boomin and Future, where he declared, “It’s just big for me” and accused the two rappers of sneaky mockery.

On April 5, 2024, J. Cole released his Kendrick diss track, 7 Minute Drill, in which he fired “warning shots” at the rapper while accusing the good boy, hometown artist mAAd of seeking “attention” and released his latest music releases as “Tragic”.

But on April 7, 2024, two days after releasing Kendrick’s diss, J. Cole retracted his statement and dropped out of the feud, stating that he felt pressured to respond because “the world wants to see blood.”

On April 13, 2024, Drake responded to Kendrick with Push Ups, which had lyrics ridiculing Kendrick’s height and his mainstream collaborations with Taylor Swift and Maroon 5.

The track also criticized rappers Future and Rick Ross and producer Metro Boomin

On April 19, 2024, Drake released another diss track, Taylor Made Freestyle, which used AI-generated voices from Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur to pressure Kendrick into responding.

On April 30, 2024, Kendrick released Euphoria, a six-minute diss track in which he criticized Drake’s biracial identity, questioned the rapper’s ability as a father, and claimed that Drake is a “scammer.”

On May 1, 2024, Drake responded to Kendrick’s mockery by posting a clip from the 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You to his Instagram Story, in which Julia Stiles’ character Kat lists the reasons why she hates Heath Ledger’s character Patrick – mirroring a euphoria bar where Lamar provides reasons why he hates Drake.

On May 3, 2024, Lamar released a second Drake diss track, 6:16 in Los Angeles, in which Kendrick alleges that Drake’s own team is working against him as he rapped: “Everybody inside his team is whispering that you deserve”, and stated Drake “Toosie can’t get out of this.”

Several followers left crying emojis, while others deemed their fight “hilarious.”

Drake and Kendrick have collaborated several times on hit songs like Poetic Justice.

However, the two Grammy winners have been involved in fights, which has led to them criticizing each other in their music.

Although fans believe that Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been secretly feuding for years, their feud escalated over the latter’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s song Like That.

APPLATIZING BACK

In the aforementioned track, Kendrick referenced Drake’s single First Person Shooter and rapped, “Yeah, get up with me, f**k sneaky diss…

“First person shooter, I hope they come with three switches.

“Do you think I won’t reveal the location? I still have PTSD… Motherfucker, the big three… bro, it’s just me big.”

Kendrick also accused Drake of not being a good father to his son in Euphoria.

Aubrey Graham, known professionally as Drake, shares six-year-old son Adonis with French artist Sophie Brussaux.

“I got a son to raise, but I can see you don’t know shit about it,” Kendrick sings on the track.

Kendrick shares a daughter Uzi and a son Enoch with his fiancée Whitney Alford.

Drake released two songs, Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle, before Kendrick released his track Euphoria.
